“Gotcha” questions are those where the asker’s goal is to trip the other person “prove” them wrong. Like the Pharisees did with their questions to Christ. These type of questions don’t “defend the Bible” — the Bible doesn’t need defending! It’s God’s words and He’s all powerful.

I am not a JW, and I have passionate disagreements with JW theology and culture. However @Jack , nobody likes “gotcha” style questions. Let’s instead treat people with respect, including those we passionately disagree with.

Neither. RatherbI live in an (ideally) democracy where all faiths and beliefs are welcome and treated with respect. Ideally doesn’t always equate to reality, but it is good to strive.

This forum acknowledges all that people whom claim Christ as Christians. No theology test like “you must accept X document”. Muslims don’t claim to be Christians, are welcome to post except for in the Christian-only sections.

There’s a whole bunch of churches under the name “Bethel”. In fact, I used to park next to three different Bethel churches, each about 80 miles away from each other. And they each had three radically different interpretation of the Gospel.

A title that JW define different than every other denomination. Other denominations have that very much being a divine title while also acknowledging that God the Son and God the Father are two different persons.

Martial arts are great. For the rare/never time you need to use for self-defense (hopefully!), but also for everyday exercise, mind-body awareness, and general health. There's a long history and culture wherein people used these exercise to better hone their minds & bodies.
