    Bible alone!

No. There’s a foundational difference between something that is viewed as being scripture, versus Creeds which are not seen a scripture or even infallible (different people view the creeds differently).

    KJV Only...which one!

I acknowledge your choice here even though after thorough study I passionately it to be contrary to scripture and logic.

    KJV Only...which one!

I actually have been emphasizing the importance of trusting God and not man this entire time.

    KJV Only...which one!

100%. In fact for millennium the Bible wasn't even compiled like it is today, and it's only been <500 years it was readily available to common people in the Western World, and a much shorter time for rest of the world. God's law, ways, and words are not confined to just that text.

Jehovah is either God or He is not, correct?

I am not insulting your person or intelligence. Merely highlighting Paul's words on the importance of charity.

    KJV Only...which one!

I'm going to politely disagree with you there. I don't find God & His power to reveal Himself to be limited to one text. Which is not to insult the text (scripture is super super important), but it is not like the only letter from some dead relative. God still lives, and His power & ways are...

    KJV Only...which one!

I would say that God Himself is the final authority. Scripture is super super super important, but as you yourself pointed out in #773 it's not God nor should we make it an idol.

    KJV Only...which one!

I would phrase it this way: yes, being careful with translations is SUPER important. I also dislike a lot of the modern Bible translations, and personally use the KJV. However, God's power to speak to an earnest heart is not limited by the quality of the human translator.

    KJV Only...which one!

That standard in which a person should investigate and determine the Lord's Truth is by earnest/thoughtful study and prayer. The Holy Spirit will enlighten and earnest seeker's mind and help them understand, step by step (you don't learn everything at once). It is NOT looking to other...

    How to love difficult people?

You can 100% love somebody and not have them involved in your life at all. Sometimes that is the heathiest and best path to take, especially in cases like abuse or other toxic behavior. Loving doesn't mean you ignore consequences-- to ignore how things make you feel is actually dishonest and...

Jehovah is either God or He is not, correct?

Call me crazy, but i don't think anyone is going to forsake their faith due to the insults/flaming/harassment from a human. Rather, Paul urges us: "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I...

Does God want us to use His name?

The "ignore" feature on forums is certainly a good feature. In real life, having boundaries on which subjects are good to talk about or not is also good, and healthy. If you're interested, I did recently put together a thread talking about what "Mormons" like myself believe about the nature of...

Where can I find a really shy woman for a relationship?

You may purchase a Barbie doll still-in-the-box at your local Walmart.

Does God want us to use His name?

I remember visiting a JW service, and talking to a gentleman there. He eagerly asked me, in a way that seemed very prerehersed “What is the name of God in the Old Testement- I can show you in scripture.” I replied “Jehovah”. He was already pulling out his scriptures, and just kind of...

LDS Christians believe 1 in God

The Bible does not state anything about “substance”. Believing that the Father, Son, and Spirit are 3 person in 1 God, that I am 100% on board with.

Where can I find a really shy woman for a relationship?

Which means we should offer the abuse victims (spouse and kids) safety and a place/time to heal. This may also involve getting law enforcement involved. Not that they should stay with the abuser.

LDS Christians believe 1 in God

On things I love about the Gospel, that I wee all throughout scripture, is the importance of true study & that God speaks to man. He is unchanging that way. Christ is a PERSONAL Savior. No matter how how lowly or sinful you are, God reaches out to you personally, going for that lost sheep...

LDS Christians believe 1 in God

I do learn for myself. That's WHY I am an LDS Christian. Every other denomination, including yourself @amigo de christo , don't encourage me to study for myself. They'll say they want that, until there's a disagreement and then it's "shut up and do what the pastor tells you". I'm also very...

Where can I find a really shy woman for a relationship?

I agreed with that as well. My point was that *in general* men and women meant to be together and marriage is of God. Obviously not every person will have the opportunity to be married. But isolation- shunning all human company- is for no one. Everyone (single and married) should have other...

Where can I find a really shy woman for a relationship?

Men and women are meant to be together and social with others. Isolation is against God’s ways.
