    24 elders in Heaven

Thank you. But the 'patriarch of Israel' or the '24 elders in Heaven' in the Old Testament GOD made covenants and promises with them in regards their descendants and offspring Jesus Christ. Where to what you've shared from the New Testament covenant and promise, only a remnant of Israelites...

    24 elders in Heaven

Is this all the 'baloney' you've got in regards the thread topic? Being 'cocky' will not make you wise but folly, this is not your 'social club', but a Bible Study platform.

    24 elders in Heaven

Likewise how's your 'brain', 'twisted' to put a 'spin' on the written word of GOD. There's no 12x12 nor 12+12 written in regards the 24 elders in Heaven, by 'folly' you're making things up. 144,000 are the descendants of Jacob's 12 sons, where even the sons are not included in that number. So...

    24 elders in Heaven

i disagree. They are the remaining 'all Israel' 144, 000 from the 12 tribes in the end shall be saved, after the full number of Gentiles have come into salvation.

    24 elders in Heaven

i disagree. According to the wisdom given us from above in Jesus name, they are the 24 elders from the 'patriarchs of Israel' who walked with GOD in the Old Testament. Most of them died and were buried, but there are account in the Holy Bible scripture, three of them were 'taken up' at that...

    24 elders in Heaven

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, the thread is about the 24 elders in Heaven. There are supposedly angels in Heaven, but the 24 'elders' spoken of i believe are the 'patriarch of Israel', the 'very elect fathers'. They are those who have walked with GOD like Enoch and Elijah who've already...

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

They are not the same, 'if the Lord will' spoken by an Apostle himself, and 'if the Lord will, we shall live' to be spoken by a believer in the church to another. Am through with this, thank you

    24 elders in Heaven

i don't buy your 'theory' and 'scripture references' that doesn't add up. When Elijah's time was up and passed his 'mantle' to Elisha, GOD had Elisha as HIS prophet to address things to Israel. Elijah was no longer in the picture anymore, looks like you've got 'time' and 'incident' wrongly.

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

You are the 'church', where James epistle inspired by GOD is addressing to, and for you to 'abide' And you're not the Apostles nor to 'imitate' them, but Christ and doctrine addressed to the church. Hope there's no reason for competition but 'abide' by the 'truth'. Shalom in the name of Jesus...

    24 elders in Heaven

This quote, 'GOD translated him', is not referring to at all Enoch had 'a change of body'. But rather, 'GOD moved him from one place or condition to another'. In other words, 'Enoch had been translated from the earthly realm to the Heavenly realm. So 'shortsighted' for you to refute me with...

    24 elders in Heaven

To you Jesus was made 'a quickening spirit', meaning, He did not have truly a human body? This flesh and blood as to men of sin, and death have power, is 'mortal', besides Jesus' without sin, and death have no power, is 'immortal'.

    24 elders in Heaven

No need to 'babble' a lot, stretching it to even judge me on things i've not said. Now you think you know about the 'rapture' excellently, therefore quote the scripture where the 'patriarchs of Israel' are included in the rapture? When Enoch and Elijah are part of the 'patriarch of Israel'...

    24 elders in Heaven

You can't even quote scripture to support your theory, and there's none about the 'patriarch of Israel' already resurrected and changed.. But you can take the scripture of the church saints in Christ, their 'first resurrection', and the changed of their body before taken up. And claim it as...

    24 elders in Heaven

It's the New Testament scripture referring to those in Christ saved by grace according to the Gospel, even to the remnant of Jews saved by grace. It's Paul's letter written to the church believers, and not to the dead before Christ, who's flesh and blood shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD...

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

Let me share with all of you how it should be said correctly by a believer scripturally, thank you. First say, 'If the Lord Jesus will, we shall live, talk to you tomorrow or others.' (James 4:15/ Colossians 3:17) Shalom in the name of Jesus Christ
  16. Fred J

    24 elders in Heaven

There's no scripture to support such 'twisted version' claim that those like Enoch and Elijah taken up to Heaven, will have a change of body nor had, like Jesus. There's no scripture to support such 'twisted version' claim that Jesus had a change of body. But there is scripture to support...

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

Am referring to the Israelites then, that they did not recognize Him as that Prophet Moses spoke about. They were merely speaking that Jesus is one of the Prophet from the Old, based on the answer of the disciples.

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

Apostles in the Book of Acts assuredly proclaimed that Jesus Christ is that Prophet, even to some Israelites in the Gospel, Moses mentioned about. John the Baptist is also more than a Prophet, and for non of the Old Testament are greater than him according to Jesus. Could he be that Prophet...

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

But they did not speak, He's that prophet Moses spoke about, but rather probably one of the Prophet from the old.

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

Marvelous! But is there a direct quote, that Jesus is that 'Prophet', thank you?
