    Veganism

Dr. Gabriel Cousens says the B12 created in the gut does you no good unless you eat your poop (like rodents, which do not suffer from a B12 deficiency), and, so, it behooves us to find a more palatable source. lol

I tried really hard to honor what was written--both sides of the coin... probably better to discuss further over there than here.

Sounds good. Have a blessed day!

Guy It would be best to get in to "Oddly OSAS" on the "Oddly OSAS" thread--and only after having read a little of what is meant by "Oddly OSAS", so that you do not run afoul of Proverbs 18:13.

Hope you enjoy and are edified! "Odd" : bc it simultaneously affirms and denies OSAS.

HHS head RFK Jr will be forced to make a public statement on the issue.

Someone who is OSAS said I was in a cult because I was not OSAS (though I am OSAS, but "Oddly OSAS"). lol

    Difficulty Reconciling

It's not conducive to edification to get frustrated and describe others negatively.

What is Satan's wheel house if a cult is not that? Lol

    Difficulty Reconciling

No, I didn't mean you said that. I was referring to someone else. That said, there are people on this thread who believe in OSAS and I don't think it is necessary to denigrate them based on that (if this thread had been about OSAS, I would encourage people to bring their arguments from...

The discussion centers on John's writings, and I was alluding to John 15.

Guys, thanks for your interactions. Ever since I learned that I need to make sure to not let my heart be troubled, this conversation has been troubling me--likely because it was out of having been troubled at heart that I initiated the discussion. So if I keep trying to make the point I made...

Even when we differ, it is a nice change to speak with people who aren't flaming one another (eg, "you're in a cult", ect, etc, etc) @PS95 @Grailhunter @CadyandZoe so let's maintain that.

I'd have to humbly differ, bc branches in Him that do not abide are cut off and thrown in the fire; John teaches abiding in Him is by believing and loving (1 Jn 3:23,24), and "little children" are warned to both abide (lest they be ashamed and shrink back at His appearance), and to keep...

I'm respecting the text. It says they believed, BUT they loved man's praise more than God's--ie, these two things were in conflict, and they chose not to confess Christ, but to deny Christ. It's simple, not mysterious. I don't conclude what you conclude. This discussion is centered on John's...

Right, so it sounds like you affirm both that eternal life does hinge on faith, and it hinges on good works, but whoever "truly" believes will inevitably, bc they're born of God, do good deeds that eternal life hinges on. Is that correct?
  18. GracePeace

    Difficulty Reconciling

Partly, I meant that Christ, and faith in Christ, accomplishes a lot of things, not just forgiveness.
  19. GracePeace

    Difficulty Reconciling

Well, Scripturally, that formulation has no justification. Already mentioned John 12. The leaders believed, but that faith didn't result in eternal life (Jn 12).

As stated, I have studied "all God's counsel" on this issue for decades, and made many many threads discussing the same--in fact, this is my first and only thread where I'm trying to stick to John. OK, so just bc you want to doesn't mean you do it, so works don't automatically flow from faith...
