The stupidest things I have ever heard were said by anti-Catholics

I'm anti-RCC and anti-EOC mostly because they teach doctrines that are: (1) against Scripture, and (2) not found in Scripture. One such is that some RCCs/EOCs pray to Mary and the saints. And IMO, the church does not correct this grievous error.

a list of people who don't make it to Heaven

Those SIN LISTS are found in 1 Cor 6:9 -- Gal 5 -- Eph 5 --- Col 3 -- Rev 21 -- etc. Butski, deceived believers will tar and feather you, if you insist that ... these Scripture passages simply do NOT apply to believers! Because you should realize that ... unbelievers (who sin habitually w/o...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

You need to understand that everyone who does NOT have the indwelling Holy Spirit is a spiritual idiot. This includes all Jews. Most born-again believers are just less so than unbelievers. For the born-agains, their idiocy is the result of disastrously false doctrine from Satan via the churches...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

You need to understand that Jesus was preaching to spiritual idiots, while Paul was preaching to born-again believers in da choiches. Do you see much of a difference here? Yeah, there was! ... Paul was teaching mucho deeper spiritual Truths.

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

You can have all the respect you want for people who insist on teaching false doctrine. Do you also respect the Pope, who is promulgating Islam over Christianity these days. Yes, Martha, this may not be on your local news. Satan is on the rampage, teaching false doctrines everywhere! Most of...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

Are you out of your mind? Jesus came to preach His new and better "gospel of the kingdom" to the Jews! I.e. how to be saved I.e. the new covenant And His precious words were recorded for all people for all time.

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

Pretty much everything Jesus said applied/applies to all humans! Pretty much nothing Jesus said caused anyone to be saved while He wuz on earth. Then the Holy Spirit was sent to indwell true believers ... and salvation began. Ergo ... Jesus' words (in Bibles) have been used to save Jews and...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

The above is ridiculous ... Jesus often referred back to the Ten Commandments. Jesus often said those who obey Him belong to Him. etc. God's initial grace to those chosen is free indeed, and this is an incredible miracle! Then, things continue on (progress forward) ... where the believer has...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

I see NT Scriptures on both sides ... yes, there are verses such as John 3:16. I have merely been pointing out the many dozens of NT verses, which are ... dire warnings about believers LOSING eternal life and believers GAINING eternal life. Now, re: a few verses where Jesus warns, "If you do...

Salvation and a third baptism often occur simultaneously

The whole problem with all of this ... In the NT churches, it was normative for (almost?) everyone to have been baptized with the Holy Spirit (with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues), and for (almost?) everyone to have been filled to overflowing. The constant admonitions of the epistle...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

Gee, I wish you would point me to one of those churches! I thought I was doin' it because no one else was doin' it. BTW, the way to stop sinning is to be faithful in repenting. Free will is involved in both repenting and stopping. However, stopping is part of repenting, right?

Salvation and a third baptism often occur simultaneously

I would like to point out that some spiritual Truths are "somewhat hidden" in the NT. And there are several reasons for this. Believers are at many different levels (or stages) of growth in spiritual understanding. Some believers are just NOT ready to receive some of the deeper Truths, which...

Salvation and a third baptism often occur simultaneously

IMO, Paul was talking about one baptism into Christ's body (the church). There must be some explanation ... because there obviously is a big difference between: being baptized into Christ's body (done by the Holy Spirit) and being baptized in water (done by man). Paul placed no emphasis at all...

Salvation and a third baptism often occur simultaneously

I thought I made it clear re: the Holy Spirit coming inside vs. coming upon.

Salvation and a third baptism often occur simultaneously

At salvation, the Spirit baptizes a believer into the church, i.e. the 1st baptism ”Each of us is a part of the one body of Christ … the Holy Spirit has fitted us all together into one body. We have been baptized into Christ’s body by the one Spirit, and have all been given that same Holy...

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

Preach against today's Laodicean (fallen) church, and see what happens ... Ignored because of ignorance. In these end times - last days ... watch the doctrines of men continue to reign over the Holy Scriptures!

Set free from sin, thus enabled to be overcomers!

Born-again believers are set free from sin, enabling them to be overcomers. All Scriptures are from The Living Bible … “All praise to Him (Jesus) who always loves us and who set us free from our sins …” (Revelation 1:5) “Should we keep on sinning when we don’t have to? For sin’s power over...

Those who really love Jesus prove it -- unto eternal life

James 1: 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of (eternal) life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” Wow, this verse covers a lot of ground. Those who continually endure (pass) the test of being tempted to sin: --...

The fruits of OSAS and fruits its Opponent theolgy

I see it referred to in many NT passages. Many of these are the conditional "IF" passages. Butski, you don't seem to understand what "IF" means. If you are American, then I understand why. 'Tis quite beneficial to have been trained to think critically. Butski, Americans have been trained to be...
