    Is Universalism true?

At this point, I am interested in how much you actually believe what you have said. Please stay focused. Let proposition P1 = Judas Iscariot will inherit eternal life according to Jesus. P2 = Judas Iscariot will not inherit eternal life according to Jesus. Between 0 and 10, how much weight do...

    Is Universalism true?

Let proposition P1 = Judas Iscariot will inherit eternal life according to Jesus. P2 = Judas Iscariot will not inherit eternal life according to Jesus. Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight.

    Is Universalism true?

I think you misunderstood me. I meant that I can't read the scriptures above and believe that most of mankind will not be saved or will be saved. I simply do not know how many people will be saved.

The will of God: What does it mean?

There is only one faculty of volition—the will—for us and for God. Nevertheless, the outputs of the volition can be categorized in different ways: Type 0 outputs of the will of God (or more conveniently, type 0 directives): These are "desires" and "wishes". Type 0 may not be fulfilled in the...

    Does Satan have any authority?

Satan tempted Jesus in Luke 4: Satan tried to make a deal with Jesus: Worship me and I will give you the authority over all the kingdoms of the world. Whatever authority Satan thought he had, it was permitted by God. God could cancel it at any time. Similarly, John 19: Jesus knew the deeper...

    When is the last day?

Genesis 1: The first day is the beginning of light and physical time. The last day is the end of physical space-time as we know it. The Bible talks about "last days" (plural) with multiple meanings: Gen 49: Isa 2: Act 2: 2Pe 3: The Bible speaks of a future last day (singular) with only...

Being filled vs being baptized with the Spirit

My guess is that Baptism with the Holy Spirit is a one-time event when the Paraclete takes up residence in the believer while filling with the Spirit is not a once-in-your-life event.

Be ye filled with the Spirit — Eph. 5:18

There is quite a bit of tradition and evidence supporting that. We will BLESS the Lord. How?

Genesis 1: God blessed people. That makes sense. But then we have (ESV) Psalm 115: How are we to H1288-bless the almighty God? Strong's Hebrew: 1288. בָּרַך (barak) — 330 Occurrences H1288 carries a variety of meanings, Brown-Driver-Briggs: bless God, adore with bended knees: accusative...

When do we receive the Paraclete?

Praise the Lord! Thanks for the testimony :)

When do we receive the Paraclete?

The Paraclete indwelling operation was released for the first time only after Jesus had died on the cross, John 16: When does a believer receive the Paraclete? John 14: I understand the "we" above refers to the Paraclete. However, there is not exactly one consistent precise moment for all...

    Is Universalism true?

Universalism is the belief that everyone will be saved eventually. Jesus says in Matthew 25: Some will go to eternal punishment; others to eternal life. Will everyone have eternal life? No, John 5: Is universalism true? I doubt it. To be on the safe side for myself, I would not rely my...

The Parable of the Dishonest Manager

There are diverse interpretations of this parable. Here is my key: follow the money :) English Standard Version Luke 16: The rich man is the owner. He has a basically unlimited amount of non-inflationary money. He symbolizes God. He has given the manager the authority to control a finite...
