In Creation, you love Jesus; in Evolution, what do you love? (evolve 'love'? thoughts?)

That's just a matter of perspective: imagine standing on the Sun, then you would see that the Earth revolved around you - but if you stand on the Earth, then it is the Sun that revolves around you on Earth!

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Welcoming imperfection, has its own kind of strength. It's not necessary for Evolution, to be perfect all the time, to be a contender.

    I'm back baby!

Actually they've discovered that the quality of life increases by 15% the bigger a city gets.

In Creation, you love Jesus; in Evolution, what do you love? (evolve 'love'? thoughts?)

Yes but the whole concept of learning something as a human, is that you model yourself on a person who has got it together - as a responsible agent. That's what I am doing when I follow Jesus, why should it be any different for Darwin?

Don't punish the Devil, until he knows what he's done wrong, who he's done wrong to and where those following him are going to end up wrong (patient?)

Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Elsewhere the Devil is referred to as the unfruitful servant and such that is punished.

In Creation, you love Jesus; in Evolution, what do you love? (evolve 'love'? thoughts?)

Hi there, So in Creation you love Jesus - the Christ. What do you love in Evolution? Darwin? Jesus said "go the extra mile"; Darwin said? If you love Jesus, you go the extra mile and you remember that He suggested it (and can be humble); if you love Darwin and he doesn't ask you to do...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Consistently resonating with a choice, do you learn to keep choosing? The Devil's attack, seems to be coming from a desire to weary (specifically, to weary the strength of Man)?

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

It must be said, I think "our species are imprinted, on our DNA". That is, there is no way to escape what you have been created.

Don't punish the Devil, until he knows what he's done wrong, who he's done wrong to and where those following him are going to end up wrong (patient?)

Hi there, So there is a simple lesson to learn, here: don't just punish the Devil. When Satan entered Judas, Jesus didn't say "now I condemn you!" - He said "What you do, do quickly" (gospels, from memory). This implies that the Devil can only do so much and that if we contradict him, the...

Does anyone know anything about Jon Gordon (sp?)? What does he teach?

Hi there, I did a little bit of a look online, but it didn't say much. Does anyone know anything about Jon Gordon? He's written a lot of books but I don't know what quality or doctrine they are. Thanks for your help.

The coming of the Holy Spirit, will be like a burning bush: that everyone but the Holy Spirit can see (looking within?)

You're ignoring me, but I question the value of making comparisons with the coming of the Lord. You understand that there are parallels between the Lord and the Counsellor, correct? That the Life of the Lord, is reflected in the Living of the Counsellor?

God is "God", by faith (considering?)

You're forgetting that "the just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:17) - this applies to God, too!
  13. G

Unity of the faith - at what cost?

I think there is a place for doctrine, but not so much that it crowds out commitment (which is a doctrinal statement, but one that leaves room for how to commit!)

How can your tears be wiped away (Rev 21:4) by Jesus when he is simultaneously...

Once people realise they are in Hell, there is an infinite desire to stop sinning (even in Hell). Babies and children are particularly good at stopping sinning, because they have no investment in a life of sin (at their age). So, the idea that God is torturing them (as you would assume, for...

How God Foresaw The Global Mental Health Crisis

Wow. Counter-stipulation (the ten commandments were "stipulated") - I never would have thought of that.
