What you've become in Christ... is not a work you do.

And by quoting that with the emphasis on GRACE, you make Grace a "Law" Indeed, and not Grace separate from the Gospel What about telling me exactly what about Salvation by Grace is inspiring? I understand not trying to earn Salvation, why would that inspire me?

What you've become in Christ... is not a work you do.

Yes. But you should remind people that their faith is working. Reminding people that works won't save them, is legalistic and obfuscating. If I said "whatever work I do, God has done better" would you intercede and say "indeed much better!" or would you say "remember your inspiration, it won't...

You guys have to start praying for two things: the rapture of the faith (that it be great) and deliverance from the tribulation (that it not spread)

I'm worried that people aren't praying as He said to pray; I'm worried we won't present a united front; I could be worried for my soul, but I know whether people pray or not, my own Salvation is a foregone conclusion.

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

It's the whole you know I know, thing, but if you know I know, then I don't want to know. The time will come, when people say "we know we know, what would it be like, if we knew a little less and remembered a little more?" But until you have faith in God, you are just riding the waves of the...

Should Christian parents trust their children’s education to public schools?

I've been to schools including a secular school, a Christian school and an Elitist school. My impression was that the secular school was well structured; the Christian school was very engaging; and the Elitist school was challenging. I don't see why you can't do a little of each.

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

God is God of the living - He cannot die. If someone says in their heart "I wish God would die", God isn't concerned for Himself, but those who would die after God, concern God greatly. You don't want a God who defends those who depend on Him for Life? No problem, the Day you die, God will...

    ...

Wow! God has put you on a steep learning curve there: but you are relying on scripture, God will bless that. PS. I don't usually read long posts, but yours was engaging.

More and more the U.S. looks like Mystery Babylon

MYSTERY? Someone ought to pay for that.

What you do in Heaven, you do *together* (selah)

The joy of it, is that there are an infinite number of things we can do together - we will never be together for no reason!

What you do in Heaven, you do *together* (selah)

We are on different paths, together; we are different people, together; we have different doctrines, together. It is the Cornerstone, together. If I didn't agree with you, it would not be together (with you). We need to find ways of enjoying different faiths, together.

    Tradition Versus Scripture

The anti-Christ judges and blasphemes them, but those that turn the other cheek are saved. That's what it is to respond with the word: it turns away wrath. Well so if the wrath of the anti-Christ is turned away: he is no longer an enemy.

What you do in Heaven, you do *together* (selah)

Hi there, So there is a simple test, to whether you are over-cooking your faith: are you doing it, together with others? In Heaven, you don't do anything, that is without friendship. Even if all you do is participate in Spirit, you wait till you are together in Spirit. There is no "reading the...

    beast=islam ( false prophet= anti christ ) dragon=lucifer ?

You need to look at it from the perspective of the World: Sky - Dragon, Earth - anti-Christ, Sea - false prophet.

    Encouraging verses

Do you believe this to the point, that you have prayed to escape and to stand before the Son of Man? (as was asked?)
  15. G

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Furthermore, the point is not to become more and more accountable to God, but to be more and more inspired, by the Holy Spirit.

If there's something in your life, that you always *do*, what would it be like, if you did it less? (thought experiment)

It's something Jesus does (and Jesus said, "if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father" gospels, from memory) EDIT: to be correct, its something Jesus does, but also something God waits for.

    Tradition Versus Scripture

Yes, woe because of the trumpets, but greater woe still for the wrath of the Dragon (Revelation 12:12). You would have been right, if you had said "they are tempted to reject Jesus"
  18. G

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Indeed we are more accountable, the more we associate other species with ourselves. You can't just say "humans came from monkeys" and not be more accountable!

What you've become in Christ... is not a work you do.

I don't know how long you are going to do it, but the "Grace not works" crowd overlook the importance of keeping your own faith alive. If you are keeping your own faith alive, you don't condemn yourself for wanting to do the Works of God - you embrace it, because it means that your inspiration...
