    Salvation = God's Blood.

    Use the quote feature and bring up my statement from where it is located where I have said that. Actually, I do. That would not be a lie.

    Salvation = God's Blood.

    That is actually true (John 11:25-27); and what this means is that if anyone is genuinely born again of the Holy Spirit, they will never allow sin to become fully grown in their life (James 1:14-16).

    Salvation = God's Blood.

    I just have to offer, what the Bible teaches. 1) In calling me a deceiver you have three fingers pointing back at you (Matthew 7:1-5, Luke 6:41-42). And I can prove it. You deny that the Christian has indwelling sin; and therefore you deceive yourself and the truth is not in you (1 John...

    Salvation = God's Blood.

    Right...He maintains our salvation (Psalms 16:5). He keeps us walking in His goodness (Philippians 2:13), if we are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5). The scripture is faithful to declare that if we cease to walk in His...

    Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

    ...and those who sin without the law shall also perish apart from the law (Romans 2:12).

    The Devil's work

    Why don't you explain it to me? It seems to me that the Bible has authority because it is authoritative. It has the power to enforce obedience (Hebrews 4:12) because what is written therein is true and reliable and accurate. No, that is what @Mungo is saying. In quoting 1 Corinthians 4:20...

    Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

    @GracePeace, @Ronald David Bruno has left the building. And I am not inclined to answer for him. So, I think that you are now left to argue with the Lord over your doctrine.

    Waiting for your response, @APAK.

    Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

    Actually, your position is indefensible. Scripture is clear that we are regenerated and renewed "not by works of righteousness which we have done" (Titus 3:5) and that we are saved "not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:9)

    Commentary on Romans. (post #18 and #19)

    Eternal Life is a Harvest Reaped by Doers of Good

    You couldn't have possibly refuted the thing in question; because it is biblical doctrine.
  12. J

    This is the true gospel .

    Neither do I. Did my post give you the impression that I do? I don't think that saying that the grace of our Lord Jesus sets us free from sin is proclaiming a works salvation. It is proclaiming that regeneration and renewing in the Holy Ghost, as an inward work, is something that practically...

    The Devil's work

    On that thread.

    "could've done better"

    Possibly. But the work that I do myself isn't going to perfect me. The work that is done by Christ is that He sheds abroad His love in my heart through the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5). My part is to live by that love. However, really, it is God who works in me both to will and to do according to...

    Once Saved Always Saved

    OSAS vs. NOSAS reconciled.

    The Devil's work

    Could you rephrase that to say more clearly what you mean by it? Because, clearly, it is not the preaching of false doctrine to proclaim that all scripture is inspired by the Lord and is profitable for doctrine, etc.
  17. J

    The Devil's work

    Yes; so apparently the Bible has enough authority to be able to deal with satan's wiles.
  18. J

    The Devil's work

    You just contradicted yourself. If the Bible is authoritative, then it has authority.
  19. J

    The Devil's work

    How, pray tell, did I do that? By quoting the Bible (1 Corinthians 4:20)? I will not do that; and also, never have I done that, except once, with @HisLife. That could not be hidden; and if I had done it more times than that singular time, those times also would be unable to be hidden. For I...
