Jeff if Mark is pointing to the 70th week being at hand, which I think I agree with, wouldn't that make the completion of the 70th week 7 years after Jesus' statement in Mark? I don't follow the 70 week of years interpretation so I may be reckoning that wrong.

Yes that was the start of the resurrection but the resurrection is continuous. The Old Testament people that died believing in Christ were given eternal life that day. The believers that were alive at the resurrection were given eternal life. Anyone who comes to Christ is given eternal life.

I’ve never understood why people don’t count 70 weeks as 70 weeks, it makes a lot more sense that way.
