Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Well I will not attempt to defend JOhn Calvin but Scripture. But as for eternal security or P=perseverance of the saints? John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall...

    THE NEW EARTH

Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. those who receive the mark are tortured forever and have no rest! Revelation 20:10 King James...

“I lost my faith at Bible college”

Well if we are to harmonize then we must also take into account Jesus teaching on the seed. John 12:23-25 King James Version 23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the...

What is the age of accountability?

Well why don't you post verses from Gods Word that even mentions there is an age of accountability where one loses that "eternal life" for they weren't accountable and have to get born again . I care not about an age, but that your concept of an age of accountability is even biblical.

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

I do not try to prove something I know is false. I am eternally secure in my Savior Jesus because of Him.

What is the age of accountability?

So you are relying on testimonies and philosophy to preach on this age of accountability instead of any real biblical support. Interesting. Substituting your opinion for teh Word of God to form a doctrine is a dangerous thing to do.

“I lost my faith at Bible college”

But we cannot form a full doctrine on one verse of Scripture. John shed fuller light on this when he wrote: 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest...

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Paul put that lie to death as most OSAS preachers do today. I have no clue as to these license to sin crowd you refer to. they are outside of my Christian fellowshiping.

    THE NEW EARTH

YOu sound very much like a Jehovahs Witness in many of these points you make. The one I will point out is that you are wrong about the destiny of the lost. They will suffer forever as Scripture declares!

    Scriptural Support?

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Eternal Security is OSAS! and it is also the perseverance of the saints. Remember they needed a P for tulip and chose that. Look at the definition and not just the title of the acronym Also your Galatians passage is not about salvation but about reaping rewards

“I lost my faith at Bible college”

True faith cannot be lost. We may be buffeted, tossed and at times filled with doubt, but those are all passing storms. True faith is grounded and Jesus and cannot be lost.

“I lost my faith at Bible college”

If a person can lose their faith due to any external circumstances, it was never a faith rotted in Jesus Himself.

What is the age of accountability?

So you follow that all who die before this age of accountability go to heaven? they do not need tro receive Jesus as Savior as Scripture says? So millions of Muslims, Hindus and pagans and atheists who die before this mystical age go to heaven?

    The Wheel of Life

welll we need to mercifully end this. It will go nowhere good

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

So because you saw people living in sin, you tossed truth out with teh hypocrisy. Scripture is absolutely clear, once a person is saved they are saved forever. But for your benefit let me say this: Just praying a prayer does not make one saved. Going to church does not make one saved, doing...

    Don't Blame God

Define according to whom? Certainly not God's definition. But as to the argument between free will and election, let us look at some Scripture (versus a mans opinion) Without delving into the variations out there, free will advocates say it is up to man to decide whether they will accept the...

    The Wheel of Life

For all we know from the time of their creation to the fall could have been decades or even centuries- we just have no clue. You write like you are glad they fell so we can learn stuff like knowing good and evil and delving deep into both, so god could show us mercy.

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

Well those who believe in TULIP exalt that faith in God alone is what saves us! Remember TULIP was coined 400 years ago and there is a different understanding than what many think today.
