Option 3 involves a person just not being on the forum. It is a valid option, but I was more looking for one in which a forum plays a role.

I didn't say anything about anyone being a lair! Again, my urging is to be more truthful about what each of us believe and more truthful in understanding about what other people believe.

Ultimately that is one of the big points of disagreement. Now what to do? We can... 1) Waste time trying to convince each other our particular view is God's Truth 2) Or leave testifying of Truth to the Spirit, and strive to better understand each other.

There's no reason we can't seek to be more truthful about what we and other people believe right here in this thread.

Extremely. It's important to understand: 1) God's ultimate Truth (an no, God Himself is not a poster on this board) 2) The truth about what I believe. 3) The truth about what person X believes. Which is one of the reasons why these constant windmills annoy me. So many people only care about...

I still don't understand the purpose of a Calvinist evangelizing at all. I know that you and I have talked about it extensively, so talking about it more's probably not going to help. But it is still something I don't get.

The question here is not "what happens to those people who've never heard about the Gospel?" That's a whole different discussion for Calvinists, Arminians, and everyone else. The question is "can a person accept the Gospel? Or is their acceptance / lack a complete non factor?"

Note: it is question #1 which is the topic of this thread. Not #2. Does a person accept Christ's gift of salvation? A gift Christ offers to all. Or does salvation forced* on some people and not for others? * Or whatever word you want to use here. A person choosing to accept it has nothing...

There are two questions here: 1) Calvinism vs not 2) What happens to a person who has never heard of Christ during this life? Question #1 is the subject of this thread. Bringing up the large Arab world is talking about question #2.

Laish, the question of "what happens to people who have not heard of Christ in this life?" is one separate from the Calvinistic/non question.

I don't think that's anyone's beliefs here. I just accepted God's gift of faith & salvation. I didn't in any way 'earn' them nor were they given because of anything I did.

I do agree that it's oath the time to actually understand another person's stance/beliefs, before trying to critque it-- lest we all end wasting time attacking positions no one actually holds!

Being there for people: seeing each individual as they really are, listening to each, serving each, loving each.

@Preacher4Truth , if you're interested in getting facts straight, I would be thrilled to very directly clarify fact from myth about what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints actually believe on another thread. If that doesn't interest you, let us not derail this thread...

Dave: post 92# is you trying to sit in God's throne. You make salvation to be all about man's working to pass a theology test.

Newsflash: nobody here believes that. If you would like to hear what I *actually* believe, I'd be happy to discuss that on another thread.
