    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

It would be difficult to imagine a degree of antagonism against the pit of hell he represents that could not be justified. Deuteronomy 13 8you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. 9But you shall kill him. Your...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

@Arthur81 goes out of his way to "misunderstand" Scripture (or he knows he's outright lying, sabotaging)--in his "interpretation" heterosexuals would be "common" (in the context, the damned). He loves perversion, so of course he has a perverted brain that cannot stand truth.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Importantly, 1 John qualifies this "lust" as NOT FROM THE FATHER, but as "love of the world". It's not of God, it's of the world--of its ruler, the devil, whose works Jesus came to DESTROY (1 Jn 3:8). Any "love" they have has nothing to do with the Father, but is "love of the world". God works...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Their "answer" to this obvious condemnation of homosexuality is, "Well, yes, the Bible DOES condemn FORCED homosexual relations, or HOMOSEXUAL PROSTITUTION, or PEDOPHILIC HOMOSEXUALITY, but this does not address loving committed homosexual relations." Conspicuously absent from Scripture is a...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Read 1 Corinthians 7 before answering it. Proverbs 18 13He who answers a matter before he hears it— this is folly and disgrace to him. 1 Corinthians 7 1Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2But because of immoralities, each man is to have...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Conspicuously absent from Scripture is ANY SINGLE INSTANCE of homosexual relations being mentioned in a positive light or celebrated. EVERY SINGLE TIME homosexual relations are mentioned it is to condemn it. If your understanding were correct, we'd expect to see many examples of homosexuality...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Christians don't accept that idea. Many have been saved out of that sin, going back 2,000 years. The world has changed its purport, invented evil, but the Bible hasn't changed. God saves from sin. "Let every man have his own wife" 1 Corinthians 7 says. Nothing else has ever been accepted...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

The "workable solution" has always been "repent" and "deny yourself taken up your cross and follow Christ". Christianity never changed, only the ideas/demands of unbelievers like yourself have changed. Men who lay with men can and must repent just as all sinners. It's not complicated. Either you...

    The : Gay Agenda #2

Isn't it "homophobic" for them to pretend to be heterosexual--for them to pretend to be fertile, to be able to bear children, when the very nature of their union is infertility? It's actually self-hateful for them to not embrace their sterility, and pretend to be something they're not. Why not...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

God permitted things before (eg, "any cause" divorce under Torah) that He now wants done away with. Polygamy was one of them. His standard was one man and one woman in the beginning, and He restored that standard.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Because leaders are examples for others to follow, it quickly gets the people on the same page with God.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

It's not a coincidence that homosexuality is not celebrated in Scripture, and heterosexual marriage is--and when homosexuality is mentioned, it's always negatively. You can try to do your little tap dance rearranging chairs on the titanic, but it's always mentioned in a negative light. I don't...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

What if someone always had attraction to married women? Should he come out as "adulterous Christian"? No, just repent and deny himself like Christ says. Same with homosexuality.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Polygamy had been permitted as a concession, but it wasn't God's ideal, and, since leaders are to be emulated, leaders were to live by the newly restored Genesis standard of one man one wife.

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

I mean, let them come alongside, and explain the Scripture in a better way for me to help me, and if I have objections, or concerns ("How come it doesn't seem to make sense with this over here?"), then explain things so that I have nothing to be concerned about. Thanks

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

I really prefer to just follow the words in Scripture, and, if people want to help me understand it better, have them correct me to improve me. It happens only rarely that people are respectful that way. Everyone needs help sometime--if someone sees I need help, let them help, but they're mostly...

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

You may arrive at an error without it being "preconceived", but that just means there are different sorts of errors.

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

It becomes apparent that it is "preconceived" as you read Scripture and you discover it doesn't fit in with the totality of what is being said.

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

@Keiw See "Abiding In Christ Necessary For Eternal Life" They brought their arguments--a singular one of the users on their side, who chimed in toward the end of the discussion, was actually respectful, but the rest were not--and, by the end, because they could not defend their ignorance in the...
