OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

That wasn't an answer to my question. Please do make me pull teeth to have you explain your views to me. Asking again: Ok, so if a person walks away from the church, they were never really saved in the first place (in your view). No matter how much that person felt convection in their heart...

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

Ok, so if a person walks away from the church, they were never really saved in the first place (in your view). No matter how much that person felt convection in their heart. Am I understanding your correctly?

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Mary, I PASSIONATLY disagree with a lot of Catholic beliefs. Yes, even to the point of saying that they go against the Bible and are not Christ's way or Truth. Yes, I would LOVE it if you abandoned these parts of the Catholic faith. And I'm not going to hide that fact. But despite my very...

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

So essentially you're saying that you believe a person that walks away was never really saved in the first place?

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

The question was: What happens to a person who once was a professing/active Christian, and has now walked away from the faith and completely works against it? Is that person saved? As "yes" or "no" will suffice.

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

Dude (or dudette), according to your own beliefs everyone here is already saved and can't do anything to become un-saved. So salvation isn't an issues. I was just suggesting that you actually answer the questions being asked of you, to more fully explain your views in this regard. If you...

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

Being persecuted doesn't mean a person it correct at all. For example, there are plenty of crazy false ideas that are heavily persecuted perceisly because they are crazy false ideas. What is much more likely to show correctness is an openness to talking about things and answering questions...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

(elaborating more) I passionately disagree with some parts of Catholicism. But I'm still going to respect Catholicism. This means I'm going: - Be accurate and truthful about what it is Catholics believe. No propagating myths and when a myth comes up (like "Catholic worship Mary"), I say the...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Many times. In fact I've personally read every chapter in the Bible multiple times. But let's not get distracted: we do not want to be clanging brass. Hence my urging of myself, you, and everyone else to be respectful and charitable to others, even when we disagree with views.

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

The phrase "to receive them into your home" mean to accept them. That's not happening. Being respectful / polite / charitable is happening. I treat these people with love. Without that it doesn't matter if I preach Truth with the very tongue of angels, I am nothing more than a clanging...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Respect doesn't mean adopting or supporting that view. It means being respectful about that person and charitable in our treatment of them. I have repeatedly answered that question: I respect but passionately disagree with (at least parts, maybe not all) all the following view points and...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Ok. Mary, I respect your heretical views.
  13. J

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

That is simply me expressing my disagreement with those views. If you don't like those words, what words would you pick to describe a viewpoint you find to not be scriptural? I did say that: I likewise respect all number of different views (Christian and non) I completely disagree with. That...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Actually, I do respect your beliefs because they are an extension of you and I'm going to respect you. I don't find them to be correct/scriptural in many areas, but that doesn't mean I don't respect you/them. I likewise respect all number of different views (Christian and non) I completely...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

YES. Just as I respect your Catholic views, many of which I find completely anti-Biblical. I don't agree with them at all, but I respect them because they are an extension of you.

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

Thanks for clarifying. Not at all. Not at all. After all, Christ called Judas as an apostle. It's Christ offering up a gift and somebody declining it. I'm not completely sure where you're confused here- my words must be falling short. Christ's gifts are part of Christ. If a person leaves...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Nonsense. It is simply a symbolic understanding, coming from a teacher known for abundantly using symbolic teaching methods. And yes, you MUST respect other people's views. It doesn't not matter if you think they are completely wrong. Just like I respect your Catholic views even though I...

BAPTISM SAVES, FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS"

Mary, most non-Catholics interpret the Last Supper prayer as being symbolic. That doesn't mean any one thinks Jesus is a lair at all. Learning to respect and understand different people's belief is a good thing :)

OSAS is the result of the finished work of the cross

Again: Heb, when you constantly avoid a basic question like this, it gives the impression you don't have answers of truth. The insults further that impression.
