How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

The prescribed method is to ask, seek, and knock (Luke 11:9-13). To be baptized in Jesus' Name is to walk through the door that you have knocked on.

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

Appealing to pride... If I adhere to your doctrine, I am somehow better than most...of the "uncommon" sort. I have to say that this is a devilish tactic.

There is no such thing as computer ink....except when you use a printer.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Even a broken clock is right two times a day. SDA and RC may be right on this issue though they are incorrect on many issues.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

The Old Testament is still the word of God and is profitable for doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16). It contains many exceeding great and precious promises by which we can become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:3-4).

Chart comparing Christianity to different religions

You have stated your opinion on the matter; and your opinion is duly noted. I will pray that the Holy Spirit will give you revelation on this so that you can be more effective as a witness to those who deny the doctrine of Christ's Deity or so that you can be a witness to them at all. For as...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

You said that those verses didn't speak of all individuals. My point is that those verses spoke of sinners which is in reference to all individuals. You really are not that dense. Are you?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Called out by the apostle John; for he wrote 1 John 1:8 which tells us both that if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. The difference between us is, I heed that as a warning and you do not believe or understand what John said in that verse. I will...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

You are the one bearing false witness. In your doctrine, God places men arbitrarily in hell based on His decision alone; and man is not responsible for his sin: rather God is responsible for all sin because He foreordained all to be sinners and decided that the punishment for that is hell.

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

However, some denominational doctrines are based on God's holy word....it is only when a denominational doctrine is not scriptural that we are to reject it.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

    All are sinners (Romans 3:23).

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

I am indeed blessed (for mine is the kingdom of heaven and great is my reward in heaven); however I still hurt for those people who will not be able to receive the truth and be saved because of accusations that have been leveled against my doctrine.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Any time a scripture is not taken at face value and some kind of teaching must be added to it in order for it to fit your palate, you can be certain that you are going with the teaching of men in order to teach you what your itching ears want to hear (2 Timothy 4:3). I find that people do this...

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

Persecution can be defined as the attempt to hinder the ministry of a person by an attack on their character or doctrine when that doctrine is sound. (For if doctrine is false, it must needs be exposed as false and to expose it as such is not persecution for righteousness' sake.)

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

Notice that I did not say that I necessarily think that anyone is persecuting me; only that if anyone is and think that the OP might apply to them, it is because they are born after the flesh and are bearing bad fruit in their persecution of me.

    being persecuted for righteousness' sake...

Gal 4:28, Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. Gal 4:29, But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. I would say that it is those who attack others on forums like these who are really the bearers of bad...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

No; for blasphemy against the Spirit is blasphemy against the Spirit; whether someone is blaspheming Him as He dwells in Christ or whether someone is blaspheming Him as He dwells within the believer.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

You do not know my heart, BB. I know that when I blow it I always fall back on the fact that Jesus died for my sins. You think that because I seek to be obedient to the Spirit of God, I do not rely on the forgiveness of Christ through His shed blood? I seek to be obedient to the Spirit...

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

@Blood Bought 1953, you keep propagating the lie that repenting of sins is not salvational when Jesus is involved as the remedy for a lifestyle of sinning...and as long as you continue to propagate that lie I will post Ezekiel 33:11-20 in order to refute that propagation of a lie. Eze 33:11...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

I would never accept anything from @Behold as being the truth; although even a broken clock is right two times a day. For @Behold denies that believers have indwelling sin; and therefore he is called out as one who deceives himself and the truth is not in him in 1 John 1:8. That does not sound...
