rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

If you are identifying me as a seventh day Adventist you are mistaken.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

The New Covenant is in fact the New Testament; and it is indeed to the church. So, to you, which is easier to avoid? Going out with a woman that is not your wife and then going to bed with her? or, lusting after the same woman in your heart? To me, the latter is more difficult to keep...and...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

It is merely a false teaching to teach that "all" doesn't mean "all". Psa 58:3, The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

If that is really true then the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in you as you walk according to the Spirit rather than the flesh (Romans 8:4).

    The Case Against the Trinity

I am beginning to grow weary in well-doing because those who deny the Trinity seem to be so hard-hearted that they are never going to change their point of view. It seems to me like constant argument going back an forth and all we end up doing is to go in circles. So, I am just going to refer...

    The Case Against the Trinity

It is implied in Luke 1:35. Also, do you deny that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (see 1 john 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7)? That is the hypostatic union.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

    1 Timothy 2:4, 1 Timothy 2:6, 1 John 2:2, 2 Peter 3:9.

    No authority!

    I am not a woman.

Chart comparing Christianity to different religions

I am not going to fight the attacks any more, I am going to turn the other cheek right now.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Yep...it's just too much work for me to be willing to do. Just like addressing the whole of the OP is too much work for you.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

This whole discussion is becoming difficult to manage. The fact that you did not understand one of my questions meant that you did not get my point; because the questions were meant to drive home a point one after the other. Therefore the breakup in your understanding means that there is a...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

But really I would prefer to discuss Calvinism as a whole and how the five points relate to each other as I did in the OP.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Well then, let us continue our discussion of the "T" in TULIP that we are currently discussing. Do you have a response to my last post? Or, perhaps you would like to move on to the U and what I said about it?

    No authority!

No; that is probably one of my least favorite and least dwelt upon verses in all of holy scripture. Because it is not pertinent to my life.
  15. J

    No authority!

Such do not have the same prestige and level of authority as priests; they are considered more to be like deacons.
  16. J

    No authority!

Marriage is forbidden to those who would be in the ministry as a priest, bishop, or pope, is that not true?
  17. J

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

I gave my article in the OP that addresses the five points as they coincide with one another. Maybe you could do a more extensive post that addresses all five points and how I have misrepresented them by giving the hyper-Calvinistic viewpoint and then refuting it as a straw man.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Believer's baptism in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins is an identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And as such, it is a confession of Jesus before men. Now read Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8 for information as to whether or not such a...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

TMI BARNEY... I'm sorry to tell you that I did not read your post. For I consider end times events to be a peripheral issue that I would rather not argue over.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

So, you're saying that the only people who will do what it takes to receive salvation are the elect; and that the non-elect cannot or will not come to Him, correct? So, if someone does come to Him and do what it takes to be saved, they are the elect, is that right? But if they don't do what it...
