    Dead in Sin !

Your god arbitrarily puts people in hell, not because of their sin or because they rejected His gift of salvation; but because He simply wanted to place them there? I'm sorry to tell you that you believe in a god who is satanic in nature.

OSAS.... what does this really mean ?

The point that I would make to you, @APAK, is what it says in Romans 11:20-22... Rom 11:20, Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: Rom 11:21, For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Rom...

I gave my exposition of what I found wrong with the message in question...and I also gave scripture to show why I disagreed with him.

    Identification

There is most certainly a sense in which righteousness is not only imparted and practical...it is also imputed and positional....and the imparted and practical comes as the result of that which is imputed and positional.

OSAS.... what does this really mean ?

If we deny the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the certain consequences for that is that we will die in our sins (John 8:24).

    Dead in Sin !

He doesn't remember all the sins of our past (B.C.); but when we commit new sins, they must be confessed in order for them to be forgiven and forgotten (1 John 1:9).

    Identification

I've heard this man before... There is always something in what he says that can be refuted by specific verses in the Bible. Maybe he isn't a false teacher....but I would venture to say that he doesn't know the word well enough to be in a pulpit in the church.

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

    The Trinity definition

Hi @DNB, You have made the statement that you think that every effort to explain the Trinity ends up being gibberish; and yet you have refused to read my explanation of the Trinity in my thread on the subject. It is only 6 posts; I think you should take the time to read it. True Trinity.

OSAS.... what does this really mean ?

I most certainly do... Of course, I hold that the blood of Jesus does not only justify (as per Romans 5:9)...it also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7) Gal 2:20, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in...

OSAS anyone? Opinions on Once Saved Always Saved

The Lord definitely keeps us saved...but not against our will. Personally, I don't know why anyone would reject salvation once they have received it... But I know that there are those who make it a point to tell us that if anyone didn't want to keep their salvation, the Lord wouldn't force...

    Kenosis False Teaching

So, you're saying that the feast of Purim fell on the same day as Pentecost? Do you have scriptural backing for that idea?

    Kenosis False Teaching

Could you elaborate a little bit more on what your point is? I missed it somehow... Thanks.

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

The first mention of baptism in holy scripture has John the Baptist baptizing people in the Jordan river (in water!). This teaching was indeed present in the times of the New Testament...in Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39.

    Identification

A few things: 1) We will in fact be judged (Romans 14:10-12, 2 Corinthians 5:10) but we will not be condemned when we are judged (John 5:24 (kjv))...we are building on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ gold, silver, precious gems, wood, hay, stubble; and everything that we build on that...

    Dead in Sin !

Oh....so God arbitrarily chooses who He will save and casts the rest into the lake of fire... I'm sorry, but this is not the god that I serve...such a god has satanic attributes in that he places people in burning fire for all of eternity for no other reason than that it is "the good pleasure...

    The Trinity definition

Of course, if you have the wrong Jesus (see 2 Corintihans 11:3-4), it may be that faith in him will not save you. I wouldn't take any chances...I would get my understanding of Jesus from the Bible and make sure that I understand who the Jesus of the Bible really is.

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

It is of importance to note that the "son that was given" shall have the name "The everlasting Father" among other names. And that the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Who wants to Judge a Man of God who lives i Health and Prosperity??

It is important that we love the Blesser more than we love the blessing that He gives. Does this mean that He does not give material prosperity as well as spiritual? He has said, "I have given thee the power to get wealth;" (Deuteronomy 18:8) and "Money answereth all things." (Ecclesiastes...
