I like Zechariah 9:9 and Isaiah 53:9 and Colossians 1:13 to tell me that Jesus is good.

It says that God is a Spirit. Then, in John 1:1, we find that the Word was God (a Spirit). And, in John 1:14, the Word (a Spirit) became flesh and dwelt among us.
