    Jesus isn't Catholic

Maybe I am obsessed... But I think that I do not spend more time on your posts than I do on the posts of everyone at these boards. So I would say that my obsession is not with you, @BreadOfLife; but with making certain that sound doctrine prevails throughout these forums.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

For those who believe with the heart, unto righteousness (Romans 10:10) and enduring unto the end (Matthew 10:22, Hebrews 3:6, Hebrews 3:14), they are sealed with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5) unto having...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

I actually read the "exegesis" that you wrote. I simply disagreed with it.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

I am very familiar with John chapter 3.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Of course we know that the Spirit of Christ dwelt in Old Testament prophets (1 Peter 1:11). However, we know also that He was given as the result of the Cross; even to the Old Testament prophets. So then, if Nicodemus stood as being like the Old Testament prophets, then he had the Spirit of...

Very big GAP in the trinity

The Holy Ghost dwells within me in all of His fulness and is one Spirit with my spirit (Ephesians 3:19, 1 Corinthians 6:17). I suppose that if I pray to the Spirit as He indwells me, He can also relay the message to Himself as He dwells fully in other saints also... But something tells me that...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

So, was Nicodemus born again apart from placing His faith in the crucified and risen Jesus? Last time I checked, born again means being indwelt by the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit was not given until after Jesus died and rose again (John 7:39).

Very big GAP in the trinity

If I pray merely to the Holy Spirit as He dwells in me, then the Holy Spirit will be required to answer that prayer....as He dwells in me. But if I pray to the eternal Spirit as he exists outside of me, He can answer the prayer through anyone whom He will indwell...through anyone in the body of...

Very big GAP in the trinity

They are distinct from one another.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Most certainly, there are some who believe who have not been sealed by the Holy Spirit (see Luke 8:13)...they have no root in themselves. Those who do have root in themselves; and who are sealed by the Holy Spirit, are on one side of the "IF" and those who are not sealed fall on the other side...

People that do not Believe in, look and Expect the Rapture will be left Behind!!

    I beg to differ (see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:50-54).

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

It would seem that Jesus violated the letter of the sabbath laws in John 5:1-18 unless there was a change in the sabbath law. I would contend that the change in law that was instituted by Jesus had to do with making us no longer bound to the letter but obedient to the spirit of what is written...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I'm pretty sure you typed Matthew 11:28 - 30; but the Bible at these forums mits verse 30 so in typing Matthew 11:28 - 30, it automatically switched 30 to 29. Here is the whole passage: Mat 11:28, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29, Take...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

That is not exactly what He said (read the account in John 3).

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

God is justified in His actions; as when He did not do the same and people of similar ilk survived, they led the people of Israel to sacrifice their babies to Molech. Therefore in doing this God was choosing the lesser of two evils.

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

No. God didn't force them to do that. They could have chosen to starve rather than commit such a heinous sin.

ISRAEL WILL REIGN ON THE EARTH

I find it interesting that in the new heavens and the new earth there will be no more pain (Revelation 21:4). So it seems to me that it will be recreated differently than the first time it was created.

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

The voice in the burning bush said to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me to you. Exodus 3:14.
