The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

Yes; the Spirit of Jesus is, in fact, the Father (John 4:23-24, john 14:7-11).

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Yes, I find that to be the case myself. My prayer was the following: "God, I don't know if You're real; but I'm going to start reading Your word and doing what it says: and I know that if You're real, You will reveal Yourself to me." At that point the Lord came over me by His Holy Spirit in...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

You need to get a hold of what all of scripture says before you post; for you obviously do not know the scriptures well enough to be an authority. 2Ti 1:14, That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

A good question. Personally, I would say that you do not need to be baptized again; because there was faith in your life from the time of baptism onward. But if you had a lapse in faith from the time of baptism, I don't think that having a believer's baptism will hurt you.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

It is only common sense that if you are going to confess that Jesus is your Lord, He must be your Lord if you are going to confess Him as such. For "to confess" means to agree with God. But if Jesus is not your Lord, God is not in agreement with your statement that He is. For God knows what...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Gal 3:24, Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Gal 3:25, But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Rom 6:14, For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Rom...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Hi. I have always taught these things. I would ask, how is it that a man will not endure to the end if he is sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5)?

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

It means, first of all, that He is your Lord (therefore it must needs be that you have received Him as your Lord).

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

I'm very familiar with the passage. But what are you wanting to say by it?

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

The immediate and/or topical context of a verse never nullifies the plain meaning of a verse. For the scripture does not contradict itself. This is a first rule of hermeneutics.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Actually they do; but I will allow the reader to decide: I encourage everyone to be a Berean (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11) and look up the verses in question; for I believe that they teach clearly of the need of all men, to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

@BasuraAko, I would suggest seeking in your life to heed Deuteronomy 4:29 and Jeremiah 29:13 first and foremost. Seek to know who the God is upon whose name you are to call upon for salvation; and then call upon His name. This may in fact be a lifetime journey for you. You can cut to the...

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

What matters is that you call upon it (Romans 10:13). If you know that the name that you are calling on belongs to the Person of whom the holy scriptures say, "In the volume of the book it is written of me"; then you are calling on the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as Acts 4:10-12 tells you...

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

Not everything in Roman Catholicism is necessarily false doctrine. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

They are the words of Jesus Christ; who is the Son (1 John 4:15) and the Father (Isaiah 9:6).

The Great Trib is the seventieth week of Daniel 9:24-27. A "week" being a period of seven years.

    John 1:12, Revelation 3:20, Colossians 1:27.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

The purpose of God's law is to show man that he is a sinner in need of the Saviour (Romans 3:20, Galatians 3:24, Psalms 19:7 (kjv)). The commandments to love are keepable; in that the love of the Lord is shed abroad in the hearts of believers who have the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5). Jesus Christ...

Very big GAP in the trinity

While God dwells in me in all of His fulness (1 Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 3:19), He also fills all things (Psalms 139, Ephesians 4:10). So it is not immature to pray to God as He exists outside of myself. If I pray to God within me, am I not required to answer my prayer myself. And must I...
