    Jesus isn't Catholic

Actually, my statements were a reconciliation of the verse that you gave me to the verse that I gave you. You think that the Spanish Inquisition is not a fact in history? You know...you could have a great burden lifted off of you if you would realize that 1 John 1:9 does not specify Catholic...

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

At the risk of you yelling even further, it sounds to me like much of your beliefs are Catholic.

What's'matta'? Cat got your tongue? You've been responding to me all day. I find it hard to believe that you left your computer.

Christians and the Law of Moses

I would say that that is merely your judgment....and not the judgment of our Lord. Ecclesiastes 10:9-10 gives us the wisdom that it is important to take the time to sharpen your axe. In doing so, you will be more productive in your time of chopping wood.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

However, in the new covenant, the law is written on the hearts and minds of new covenant believers (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6; Romans 5:5) The Holy Ghost did not get it wrong...and there is no contradiction. Given time, I can reconcile any...

Very big GAP in the trinity

Give me chapter and verse. Because I think you're lying. And I also want to see the context if it is in the Bible.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Therefore they have something to do with it; in that keeping them is the result of salvation. They got it wrong? Deuteronomy was inspired by the Holy Ghost (2 Timothy 3:16).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Saying to Jesus, Lord, Lord, and, calling on His name, are two different things. Matthew 7:21 is not saying that a man shall not be saved if he calls on the name of the Lord but is disobedient. That is inconsistent with the teaching of holy scripture. The one who calls on the name of the Lord...

Very big GAP in the trinity

I think I need chapter and verse on the passage that you think says that we ought to do so.

I would say also that if a man desires to observe the law of the sabbath as a day of rest every Saturday, that he is not condemned for doing so. Colossians 2:16-17 runs both ways. And the exhortation of holy scripture is to "Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." (Romans 14:5b)

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Keeping them is the result of salvation. Consider that in Exodus 34:28, it says that the ten commandments are written on the tablets. Then, in Deuteronomy 5:22, we find which commandments those are...the ones spoken of directly before the verse.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

So, Romans 10:13, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord may or may not be saved"?

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Read Deuteronomy 5 and specifically verse 22.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

    true (Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19, Romans 7:6, Ephesians 2:15-16, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 7:18-19).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I wasn't saying that excommunication as a practice was unbiblical... I was saying that it has been abused by the Catholic Church throughout church history, such as during the times of the inquisitions.

Very big GAP in the trinity

Luk 1:41, And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: Luk 1:42, And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Luk 1:43, And...

I attend the church that I attend; and we partake of communion as a symbolic action. And I don't think that I am going to hell because of this. Rom 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
