Yes, to be in the morphe (form) of something means that you are that something, according to Zodhiates.

Very big GAP in the trinity

The Son is the Father (Isaiah 9:6); while the Father is not the Son (Isaiah 57:15, 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7). The Holy Ghost is the Son and the Father (I'm tired right now and may comment on this later). But the Father and the Son are not the Holy Ghost.

Very big GAP in the trinity

I will say that Mary is the mother of Jesus' humanity (Romans 1:3).

Very big GAP in the trinity

@Truther, Do you agree with holy scripture that there is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5)? Even the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). Now see my post above.

Very big GAP in the trinity

Luk 1:41, And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: Luk 1:42, And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Luk 1:43, And...

Purgatory and Praying to Saints in Catholic Biblical Perspective

Except that the unforgiving servant owes an inextricable amount of money; that he cannot possibly pay in his lifetime. I don't believe that this is talking about Gehenna. I have looked at your reasons for believing it is and reject them. It is clearly talking about debtor's prison on earth...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

So, what is the answer from your perspective? If you committed a sin unto death, can that sin be forgiven by a Catholic Priest? And if not, is it forgiven before you confess it to the priest?

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I said, they cannot be an apple far from that tree.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

That's not what it says. You don't get to add a scripture at random and make the original scripture null and void. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be obedient...is the conclusion that one can make from looking at both of these scriptures together. In your scenario, whosoever...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I will drop the argument for now. Except I will say that Diotrephes is an example of an unjust excommunicator: and will say that those who excessively excommunicate people cannot be an apple far from that tree.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

If you sin tonight and can't make it to confession until tomorrow... And Jesus comes back or you die, between the time that you sinned and the time that you go to confession... What will happen to you? Do you know?

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

I'm pretty sure that gnosticism would deny that God can become flesh. For it teaches that spirit is good; and matter is evil. Therefore, in gnosticism, God cannot become flesh because God is a Spirit and therefore good; while if He became flesh He would become evil in that religion...

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

Nope. The Word was God (John 1:1). God is a Spirit (John 4:23-24). The Word became flesh (John 1:14).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I haven't lost the argument. The fact that I don't have any information on the specifics doesn't mean that the Inquisitions weren't an atrocity. People were tortured to death by the Catholic Church. That is a fact of history.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

There is not perfect harmony in what you said. For you are teaching that Romans 10:13 does not say that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved...when it clearly does. In this, you are favouring your scripture above the one that I have given you; and have denied the truth...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

What you did there was to take Matthew 7:21 and to make it deny Romans 10:13. Instead of doing that, you should have been attempting to reconcile those scriptures to each other (like I did) so that there is no contradiction between them; so that both scriptures stand to be true.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Hi there. While keeping the commandments will be the result of a genuine faith, our faith must be in Jesus Christ alone and what He did for us on the Cross; never in ourselves and our ability to keep the commandments, or in our performance, or in our law-keeping, or in our works, or in our...

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

How do I put this nicely...real, born again believers don't pray to the saints. We understand that Jesus is the one mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:5). Funny, I am talking about this subject in the other thread also. Jesus isn't Catholic
