Proper Bible Interpretation of 2 Peter 3:8-10

Predictably, you can't explain your decapitated orphaned undetermined 70th week either. So Messiah the Prince, the Covenant Confirmer "He" in Daniel 9:27, is your "bad guy". You need to tell Davy that his "vile person" is wrong. It should be "bad guy". But 2,000 years ago, Messiah...

Proper Bible Interpretation of 2 Peter 3:8-10

You didn't explain your decapitated orphaned undetermined 70th week. Oh, so Messiah the Prince, the Covenant Confirmer "he" in Daniel 9:27, is your "vile person". What a relief. The "vile person" isn't quite as bad as the antichrist, right? Explain that one too.

Proper Bible Interpretation of 2 Peter 3:8-10

Explain how your decapitated, orphaned, undetermined, 70th week satisfies Daniel's declaration "Seventy weeks are determined". Once you've done that, you can then explain how Messiah the Prince in Daniel 9:27 is the antichrist. We can hardly wait.

    Man's Preterism, An Abomination

Not one. Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into his body, and cast out all them that sold and bought in his body, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

    Man's Preterism, An Abomination

The Judaean Christians knew that Jesus did give a warning; they heeded and acted upon it, and preserved their lives. Because not one of them listened to you.

    Man's Preterism, An Abomination

Were the Judaean Christians who fled prior to 70 AD in response to Jesus' warning in Matthew 24:16, truly stupid? Not one of them was a dispensational futurist. So they were immeasurably smarter than you.

    The "watch rapture view"

Complete dispen bilge, bunk, and balderdash. Toss it back into the round file from whence it comes. And stop trying to contort Christ into antichrist. You fail.

    The "watch rapture view"

You are the one who doesn't understand that Messiah confirmed His already existent Everlasting Covenant for seven years with the many in Israel who believed on Him. The word "make" does not appear in the definition. The already existent Everlasting Covenant in Daniel 9:27 was not made. It was...

Did you change your mind about the everlasting covenant?
  10. C

    The "watch rapture view"

Yes, Messiah confirmed the everlasting covenant.
  11. C

    The "watch rapture view"

Right, there is no 7 year tribulation in Daniel 9:27. Messiah the Prince came, and confirmed the covenant with many in Israel for one week. It was the New Covenant in His Blood. Matthew 26:28

    The "watch rapture view"

Nope. One "His people". Ephesians 2 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so...

    The "watch rapture view"

You forget God's explicit requisites which identify His people. Ephesians 2 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Hebrews 11 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that...

    The "watch rapture view"

Spiritual DNA. Two genes. Faith and obedience. Nothing else. They alone are "His people" whom He will never forget.
  15. C

    The "watch rapture view"

Who are "His people"? What are their identifying characteristics in God's sight? Numbers 25 9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. Were the 24,000 that God slew "His people"?

    The "watch rapture view"

No there doesn't. Daniel 9:24 declares "Seventy weeks are determined". That's all seventy. Not 69.5. Your 70th is half decapitated, orphaned, and thus undetermined. It contradicts the prophecy. Discard it.

    The "watch rapture view"

Neither Cornelius nor the Ethiopian eunuch invalidates the final 3 1/2 years of the 70th week being focused on Israel.

    The "watch rapture view"

The Jews who declared it a "mad act" were and are well aware that it would do and did nothing to protect the Temple, but in fact the precise opposite. Scripture, Scriptural history, and Scriptural grammar are about both doctrine and truth.

    The "watch rapture view"

What do you think is the difference? Check Acts 2:28; is that the Scripture that you meant?
