    Passover vs Eucharist

Wow, you are more messed up than I assumed. Romans 4:3, "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness." This type of righteousness is required for one to go to heaven. "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the...

    Passover vs Eucharist

Christ wasn't contradicting other scripture that says that Abraham for example was saved by faith and not works. So Abraham had nothing to brag about, just because he believed God. Yes there's a difference in belief in the head, that even demons have, and trusting God in the heart.

    Passover vs Eucharist

As is every believer. To the best of your knowledge he didn't get baptized? Lol, no he didn't unless it was post mortem. Baptism is also symbolic, but no need to go there.

    Yes.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

You're just talking in circles... I already answered.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

That he'll never destroy the Earth by water again, or destroy all life on the Earth.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

As I said, Christ is the sacrificial lamb who died once for all. He's the lamb of God because he is the third member of the Trinity.

    Passover vs Eucharist

I don't know how one lives in a closet, so I don't know the answer. Life will present choices and true faith will produce results. They may seem like tiny, unimportant results or big glorious results, but any move forward is progress. But the progress isn't what saves, it's one's continued...

    Passover vs Eucharist

I already stated that faith will produce works, but those works are not our salvation. If I depend on my works to save me, I will always fall short. Only his blood is sufficient. Now, certainly, I can be saved and do nothing but die five minutes later and go straight to Glory. Even Catholics...

    Passover vs Eucharist

We can take it with unconfessed sin in our hearts. Again, it being a spiritual reality and not a physical one plays no part in it being participation in Christ.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

Thanking God for something doesn't mean God did everything. We should thank God that we have the ability to work. Does that mean he does all our work for us? We should thank him we have the ability to believe, but that doesn't mean he chooses belief for us.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

What does the ground have to do with this conversation? Spell it out.
  13. R

    Saved Or Predestined ???

It's actually both. And to pick only one, you have to pick and choose which verses to believe.
  14. R

    Saved Or Predestined ???

He is the sacrificial lamb, slain for our sins. I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, but Jesus said he was raised up to draw all men to himself. He was not just the sacrifice for some sins but everyones.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

Lol, then you don't mean free will. You mean doing what God already chose for you to do. If it's not libertarian free will it's just an illusion. You are sounding more calvinist by the post now. Does God's will always happen or not? I say no way... that's not the biblical narrative.
  16. R

    Saved Or Predestined ???

It doesn't matter what you claim to imply if your theology leads to certain logical conclusions.
  17. R

    Saved Or Predestined ???

I can say thanks for further confirmation of what I already said. It's quite obvious that Paul is not saying God simply chooses some and passes by others, but that obedience brings about salvation. They obeyed from the heart. The heart that you claim can not choose God. Your whole argument is...

    Passover vs Eucharist

Adding to Christ's sacrifice for salvation is sad and pointless. Yes it's grace plus faith, nothing added. Baptism saves no one. Multiple verses confirm that belief is all that is required. We will do works if our faith is real. I know Catholics confuse works with salvation, it's one reason I...

    Passover vs Eucharist

It is his body spiritually speaking. No one took a bite of him when he told them you must eat my flesh in John 6. In John 6:51 Jesus said: I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the BREAD that I will give for the life of the...

    This Generation

You are just wrong. Probably a Pat Robertson follower. The two phrases “tread under foot” and “times of the Gentiles” are referring to the Roman invasion and conquest of the Jews in AD 67-70. If 1967 was the end of the times of the Gentiles, and if a generation is, Biblically, 40 years, and if...
