    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Indeed; and the Spirit's work is to convict of sin. How does He do so? Rom 3:20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Gal 3:23, But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which...

THE GOSPEL PREACHED BY THE TWELVE DISCIPLES

Disagree. If it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and instruction in righteousness, it is to be applied and/or obeyed.

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

It can indeed be misleading to think that, "as is the earthy, so are the heavenly"--to think that if I am heavenly I am as the earthy; i.e. that even those identified as saints are in all reality sinners. But saints are saints, not sinners. "As is the earthy, so is the earthy; and as is the...

I believe it was Jonathan Edwards who gave a Sermon on the very subject of "sinners in the hands of an angry God;" from which came the first great awakening in America's history. Therefore it cannot be such a bad thing. God is in fact angry with sin and sinners. Psa 5:5, The foolish shall not...

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Someone might think that being a Gentile and therefore not under the law, that the law does not apply to them as that which defines sin to us. But I think that you agree here that it does apply to them. The law shows Gentiles that they are sinners just as much as it shows Jews that they are...

    True Trinity.

I agree...however there is a THEY in distinct Persons...while they are yet at the same time the same Person. I don't know if this will help your understanding, but: when Jesus released the Holy Ghost back to the Father, Luke 23:46, He released Him into eternity, to fill all things...He (the...

I would point out what it says in Romans 3:19-20. Rom 3:19, Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Rom 3:20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no...

    True Trinity.

Jhn 5:37, And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. Question: Is Jesus "exactly" the Father? Had they seen Jesus' shape; and had they heard His voice?

    True Trinity.

The two are one. 1 x 1 = 1. They are in fact the same Spirit. The same Person in different habitations. One dwells in eternity, the other in time. One has an infinite "body/shape" the other a finite human one. Exactly what I said.

    True Trinity.

You need to look at the whole of scripture. I believe that the Father and the Son are the same Spirit. But, you should pay attention to the scriptures that I have referenced concerning the distinctions that truly do exist between Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

To which someone might respond with Luke 1:37. Luk 1:37, For with God nothing shall be impossible. I would only say that the means by which a man might be able to keep the law perfectly will not come through attempting to keep the law perfectly. Rather, a man must believe in Christ, and...

    True Trinity.

Hi @101G, I do believe that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, are absolutely ONE, so that the Father is the Son is the Holy Ghost. However, I also see distinctions in their attributes, such as: 1) The Father is distinct from the Son in that He is an eternal, infinite Spirit (John 4:23-24) who...

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

Yes indeed...I believe that it is the impossibility of keeping the law perfectly that will bring a man to the end of himself so that he sees trusting in Christ as the only option...see Galatians 3:10, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48. Also Galatians 3:22, Galatians 6:13.

I'm not sure that this substantiates the idea that only Jews are under the law.

Millions of American Believers take Authority over Covid-19 Virus

I think that men are held accountable for the light that they are given. There is the light of creation (Romans 1). If anyone obeys this light; believing in God, they will receive the second light, conscience (Romans 2). If anyone receives this light, understanding that they are sinners in...

    Law Rules—Grace Lives

I think that I disagree with this...the law was a schoolmaster to lead all of us to Christ, who have come to Christ. And as such, we would have had to have been under it, whether Jew or Gentile. Though I think that what you are saying is that Gentiles were not given the ceremonial law...
