    True Trinity.

The Father is an eternal Spirit and not a created being. Therefore He does not need immortality. His nature is eternal rather than everlasting. However, He became a Man; took on human flesh, even a created nature: and Jesus Christ, who is the Father come in human flesh, will in fact live...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Because it is written, Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.

True Trinity...even as is the title of this thread.

    True Trinity.

There is no confusion in my mind as to the reality of what I have proclaimed to you. I expect that if you were able to get rid of a religious spirit that causes you to be a stickler for specific tenets of your faith, you might even be able to think on what I am saying and also see how what I am...

    True Trinity.

My belief is more of a cross between Oneness and the Trinity.

    True Trinity.

@BARNEY BRIGHT So, you have failed to say that Jesus is the Lord (see 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 8:9) There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5); but I would also ask you the same question; and am interested in what your answer might be. He is an individual who is distinct from the Father; but not...

    True Trinity.

I suggest taking a closer look at the scriptures in question...take some time to meditate on them and consider how they teach the doctrine that you are avoiding in your thinking.

    True Trinity.

The answer is B. and that the One whom I call the Son is also the Father in His Spirit (John 4:23-24, John 14:7-11). While if the answer were A. it could not be said that the Father is the Son. Because the One who inhabits eternity is not in flesh except after He descended to dwell in flesh...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

To be fair, @ReChoired, @BARNEY BRIGHT is having to deal with some as his opponents who believe in Oneness doctrine (yours truly). Though my particular take on the Trinity may not be defined specifically as Oneness; but as a cross between Oneness and the Trinity.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Yes, it is true that most believers do not rely on the Holy Spirit consistently and therefore do fail from time to time. But I would say that the doctrine of the inevitability of sin is a false doctrine and heresy. We do not have to sin...Romans 8:12-13. I believe also that 1 John 3:9...which...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

Obviously, you are not going to find that these doctrines are in the holy scriptures, as long as you don't study the holy scriptures. In order to find them, you would have to look for them. And the scriptures that I laid out in the thread in question were primarily on the Trinity. I notice...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Jhn 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Jhn 6:47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Jhn...

    True Trinity.

Again, God the Father and God the Son, while they are indeed one Person, are also distinct from each other. In His humanity Jesus is less than the Father. But it should be clear that the Spirit who dwelt/dwelleth in Christ is the Father (John 4:23-24, John 14:7-11). It is this same Spirit...

The Person God the Father both stayed behind in heaven and also descended down to become a Man. See post #5 (True Trinity.).

How is Jesus the light of the world?

The Lord is indeed a Person/Personal God.

    True Trinity.

It has already been put in my own words. I don't see why anyone can't respond to the message as it has been given. Actually, Patripassianism has a biblical backing and is no heresy. Consider Romans 4:24-25 Hebrews 9:16-21. And I agree that there is a "threeness" as well as a "Oneness"...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

I suggest you study the scriptures that I have laid out in the following thread: True Trinity. Eph 3:3, How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Eph 3:4, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

How is Jesus the light of the world?

While we know that the scripture says that God is love; we cannot make the conclusion that the inverse is also true (that love is God). Love might be considered to be an esoteric value that is impersonal; but God is personal and the fact that He is love means that He is a personal God who in...
