What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

It is out of charity (agape love) that I seek to preach sound doctrine so that in believing it, men may be saved. Again, see 1 Timothy 4:16. Charity, also, does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth. So I am not going to tell you that you are saved if the scripture declares that...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

If a person is unaware of the fact that Jesus is God, I can see your point. But if they become aware of it as fact and then go about rejecting it as a doctrine, that is another thing.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

His judgment will be in accordance with His revealed word, see John 12:48. It most certainly does. Only when I am speaking in conjunction with His word. You can be certain that the demons are aware of who I am. I say this not in pride, but based on the fact that I have cast them out...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

You have every right in this country to reject the truth of God's word. See the beginning of post #61.

We've already pointed out the verses. Go back and read the entire thread and look up the verses referenced in our posts.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

He is in reference to God. Also, the word is in italics, which means that it is not in the original text. So Jesus is saying, "Unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins." 'fraid so. But not because my understanding is mine. Because my understanding is in accordance with what...

    A question for mormons.

So you're saying that Lucifer isn't Jesus' spirit-brother in Mormonism. What would happen if I were baptized as a Mormon, then found out that He is the spirit-brother of Lucifer in the religion, and wanted out? I've heard that Mormons ostracize and even kill people who try to escape the...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

You don't have to believe the truth from my perspective; though your salvation depends on it. Jesus will be your judge, not me. But if you don't believe the scriptures referenced, ask yourself whether you really believe in Jesus; and also remember John 3:16.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Exodus 3:14 John 8:24 unless you believe in the Deity of Christ you will die in your sins. It is possible to believe in the wrong Jesus, 2 Corinthians 11:3-4.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

1Ti 4:16, Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Jhn 12:48, He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in...

    A question for mormons.

Can you promise me that if I were to be baptized as a Mormon, that this information wouldn't change on me in the long run? I'm inclined to believe the reports that tell me that Mormonism teaches that Jesus is the spirit-brother of Lucifer rather than God. Is Lucifer not also begotten of God in...

    A question for mormons.

If Mormonism is in no way in contradiction to the teachings of the Bible, then reading its documents is unnecessary concerning finding the unadulterated truth. You can find it in the Bible. If, however, the documents of Mormonism are necessary for us to read, then Mormonism is not a part of...

    A question for mormons.

Please define what you really mean by this. No; because it is clear that his beliefs are in accordance with what real Mormonism teaches; and it is to the Holy Spirit's advantage for everyone to see what that is in light of the fact that you are trying to hide from us the real doctrines of...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

John 8:24 in comparison to Exodus 3:14. Consider that the Pharisees picked up stones to stone Jesus because He claimed to be God. John 8:58 w/ Exodus 3:14; John 8:59, John 10:31-33. I'm certain that there are arguments against the plain view of what these scriptures teach. I will pray that...

What I believe about the Atonement

Actually, the following is true: Psa 16:10, For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. I am only commenting on the OP.

PETER AND PAUL PREACHED DIFFERENT GOSPELS

In 1 Peter 1:1 Peter writes 1 Peter to different regions, among which are Bithynia and Galatia. God forbad Paul to go to Bithynia; but Galatia was deeply affected by Paul's doctrines as the apostle to the Gentiles. Therefore Peter's writings are to both Jew and Gentile.

Believing in the Deity of Christ is essential for salvation. Without this faith a man will die in his sins.

How big is Jesus Christ now?

The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Jesus; and it is in the form of the 3rd Person that Jesus is risen to fill all things. The form of the 2nd Person is a finite human body.

How big is Jesus Christ now?

Notice that you have failed the test of 1 John 4:1-3 and 2 John 1:7 (in the kjv).

    A question for mormons.

Not necessarily. You are implying that the Holy Ghost can have sex with a virgin physically. That is borderline blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. You are walking on thin ice.
