Can't do that myself. All the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put Humpty together again... But the King could.

I believe the principle that would apply is, he that is ignorant, let him be ignorant.

If you are not connected to the vine, how do you have access to the sap (life-blood) of the vine? Is not abiding to draw up nourishment from the vine on a continual basis? Is not the Holy Spirit the life-blood of our Christian walk?

    Galatians 5

He was probably referring to 2 Peter 2:20-22.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I don't think that anyone can understand God fully... But the doctrine of the Trinity can be understood to a very great degree.

@"ByGrace" If you're interested, the answer to your question is in post #2109 above.

    Please explain this.

Actually, He did teach in John 15:1-8 that if we fail to abide we will be "cast into the fire". Now He did not say to what extent we must needs abide in order to avoid that fate. But I consider that the person who is asking, "How far can I go before I am outside of the grace of God?" is not...

    Please explain this.

I do not find the state of abiding to be a burden, and neither do I consider it to be a bondage to be obedient in the Lord.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Some "Trinitarians" are actually Tritheists in disguise. They do not comprehend the Oneness between Father, Son, and Holy Ghost and so they actually think of the three as being separate rather than distinct. They say it is the Trinity but in their hearts they are worshipping three "people" who...

    Please explain this.

I have no "Catholic" in me... Of course the scripture that I am referring to is Galatians 2:20. He doesn't "move out"...He just stands aside and lets me take over. Because the obedience that the Lord desires is willing obedience. So if I am not willing to obey Him at any given moment, He...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

The Father is called the Lord by Jesus in Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21. There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6). And no one can say that Jesus is the Lord except by the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:3). @Enoch111, Can you say that Jesus is the Lord in light of the fact that Jesus...

I don't wear hats. If I did, I would be dishonouring my head, which is Christ; because I am told to pray without ceasing. But for you to understand what I am saying, you might need to know your Bible backwards and forwards yourselves. PS the animosity does show in some of you.

    Please explain this.

Amen...I love perfectly when Christ is living His life in me and through me. When it is me that is doing the living, of course I am not loving the way I am supposed to at all. I would say that Christ supplies the fulness of His love to those of us who believe on Him. Romans 5:5, Ephesians...

Believers need to understand the Truth

That is an oxymoron. Neither is any of it agape.

But if I'm not forgiven through that, you're not forgiven through it.

Believers need to understand the Truth

@bbyrd009, Everyone here already knows from your statements that you don't believe the gospel. I feel sorry for you that you keep digging for yourself a bigger hole that you will not be able to crawl out of on your day of judgment.

Believers need to understand the Truth

@GodsGrace, I think that while there are verses that say that obedience is something God wants, You would be hard-pressed to find a verse that says that obedience or works are required for (continued) salvation. We do not obtain salvation by works in the beginning; and neither do we maintain...

Believers need to understand the Truth

Have we not all done evil? (1 John 1:10, Romans 3:23). Therefore, according to your verse (especially in the kjv), all will be raised unto the resurrection of condemnation. Those who are forgiven, their sins have been washed away and they have been made into new creatures in Christ. And this...

Believers need to understand the Truth

Please elaborate; because this doctrine sounds strange to my ears.
