Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Back already? . . . What does it mean that Jesus is the Son of God? It means that He is the Father (Isaiah 9:6) in Spirit (John 14:7-11). Now I know that a part of my preaching style is to disperse knowledge, while at the same time concealing it (Proverbs 15:7, Proverbs 12:23). Therefore, you...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Will the children of God suffer His wrath?

Mat 8:10, When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. Mat 8:11, And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom...

Jesus said, you will be hated by all men for My name's sake.

Luke P., the believer of the Bachelorette series (edit: on television), has been touted as the one that "you love to hate." It is written, Jhn 15:17, These things I command you, that ye love one another. Jhn 15:18, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. Jhn 15:19...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I am willing to consider your pov, if you can show me scripture that backs it up. But I would also ask you to take a long hard look at Isaiah 53:10 as it applies to 2 Corinthians 5:21; and also respond to me in light of how you see these scriptures existing in my mind. To @101G.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I'm kjv-superior concerning Bible translations; and therefore I will take this rendering: Zec 12:10, And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn...

I would like that... I do consider you to be a woman of the Lord...and I know that there are things that I can even learn from you. Of course, I know my Bible backwards and forwards, and I also consider myself to be a Berean to the hilt... So be careful what you say to me :confused:o_O...

Believers need to understand the Truth

That we are forgiven of our sins when we believe in Jesus and what He did for us on the Cross.

Interpretation of the holy scriptures is spoken of in these verses: 2Pe 1:19, We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2Pe 1:20, Knowing this first...

Of course you don't answer to me or any other man or woman...only Jesus Christ. Believe it or not, I don't judge you for being unorthodox... I believe that I am considered to be unorthodox myself by some who frequent these boards.

It was the right move on her part. If he is the kind to value the relationship, he will ask her to marry her. Fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

Believers need to understand the Truth

Faith in the gospel message, given to us in a nutshell in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Also in the Person of Jesus Christ Himself, John 6:47. As well as the Father who sent Him, John 5:24.

In context, that is speaking of the interpretation of tongues. Interpretation of the holy scriptures is spoken of in these verses: 2Pe 1:19, We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and...

    Please explain this.

I am presuming that the Bible is the final authority on any given subject; and that if therefore there is some kind of "extra revelation" that contradicts the Bible, that the Bible is correct and that extrabiblical revelation would be a lie. If it is in alignment with what the Bible teaches...

Believers need to understand the Truth

Obedience is not required for salvation. Faith is the only requirement. Faith and real salvation will produce obedience. Therefore, if someone is disobedient to the Lord, we can safely say that they are not saved. But it is not obedience that saves; it is the faith that produces obedience...

I'm certain that you can get the gospel message reading some other version...all I'm saying is that entire words and phrases are missing out of other versions...so if you want real nutrition in your meal, stick with the kjv. The kjv is not "special knowledge"...it is simply more complete than...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I believe I've made it clear any disagreements that I may have. Now to say, "let us agree to disagree' simply means that we are probably not going to convince the other of our pov, so let's just drop it. It's a non-essential anyway; unless your estimation of the Holy Spirit dying translates...

    Please explain this.

The moment the Holy Spirit convicts you over something I have said, now we are no longer friends? (see Galatians 4:16). I know that you are aware of my testimony; before the reality of what my testimony says about me didn't matter. Now all of a sudden it is ammunition against me in your...
