If scripture is perfect, then we are to obey all of it; which includes its protocol for using the gifts in a church setting. Which would indicate that the gifts have not ceased.

The perfect is when we get to heaven. So it is "will replace" future tense; not "replaced" past tense. Who is to really say that that is the case? If the gifts have ceased, then there are things in the Bible that we are not to obey (such as 1 Corinthians 12:31, 1 Corinthians 14:1). And if...
