For those who don't believe in prophets today....explain this

@Dave L It's fine and dandy that you LIKED post #98... But do you have a response?

    Jesus!

However, the Holy Spirit would apply what he was saying in Matthew 7:13-14, to them, today. See Acts 15:18 (kjv).

How Free Will Destroys the Gospel

"Covenant" and "Testament" are basically synonyms in scripture. So what you are saying is that the New Testament doesn't apply to Gentiles. I don't buy that for a second. If you want scripture, try Ephesians 3:6.

Also, I believe that it should be moderation protocol that if someone speaks like Jesus did in a given situation, it should not be squelched even if it might appear to be crossing the line according to some people's standard (such as what Jesus said to the Pharisees in Matthew 23; which might be...

    Jesus!

Then I won't try to convince you. You have every right to seek to enter in by way of the broad path (Matthew 7:13-14).

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Actually I never would have said that I don't pray to God because I do. You said: That is at the very least an implication that I do not speak to the Lord (i.e. pray to Him). But whatever...you want to judge that it isn't loving for me to go by my heritage given to me in Isaiah 54:17 and yet...

What kind of experience does he have? As a moderator or as one who has been wronged by them?

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

However I would extend to you an invitation of friendship, if you might be able to put aside all of the condemning comments and really discuss the issues...such comments as, "You don't even pray to the Lord, and you don't even have a relationship with Him because you are abiding in His word and...

Amen sister. I have noticed that. It would make me very sad if for some reason in your theology I did not specifically see you up there in the kingdom; because I feel that we have formed a friendship over time. However it is not in me to push my pov to the point where a friendship would be...

    Jesus!

It matters because if a person is reading the NIV or the NASB, the Holy Spirit is hindered from ministering to the person with certain specific verses short of a word of knowledge or some kind of supernatural occurrence; because the word that He wants to minister to the person through is...

    A Common Error

The very fact that Gentile Christians are able to bear the fruit of the Spirit testifies to the fact that my personal and humble opinion is right. John 15:1-8 does not only apply to Jewish Christians.

I have not had any problems whatsoever here at this site...the Spirit of the Lord is here and therefore there is also liberty...2 Corinthians 3:17. I feel that I bear the fruit of the Spirit and that I therefore do not have any possibility of crossing the line, because Psalms 94:20 is not...

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

It's alright man...keep judging my relationship with Christ as though it were completely absent...you don't even know me and I think that I don't even know you.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

    @Nancy, See Zechariah 12:3.

    A Common Error

Gentiles graffed into the cultivated olive tree would not fail to bear fruit, impaho.

An update...I do not even know what I did at this point...but I have been permanently banned from CARM because of "rule violations"...they do not even bother to tell me what my rule violations were so that I could avoid doing them in the future...but I guess that now it doesn't even matter if...

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

@mjrhealth... You appear to be espousing an objective Christianity that does not hold the word of God to be His revelation to us of who He is... I would say to you about that, that God has revealed Himself to us in His word (Psalms 138:2)...and He does not deceive us in what He tells us about...
