    Hey Riven, May I ask?

I think I'm gonna get saved. Thanks, Angie. :clmSmlx

    Hey Riven, May I ask?

I think I've turned a corner. Ironically, it was through a story I was writing. Well, I'm still writing it. But it was the first draft. Anyways, I put all the parts of me into it. Like shards of glass, I shaped the characters who resemble parts of my psyche. They are me. The world is the one...

Should a non-Christian have Christian friends?

A few Christians on another forum once. I don't really care what people believe. If a person treats me with respect and they're fun to be around, I think friendship makes sense. Yes, that has happened to me. Close minded people are a dime a dozen. It's their loss.

Should a non-Christian have Christian friends?

Yeah, I think I've made a friend or two. Why do you ask?

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

Alright. Well, that seems fairly straightforward.

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

I don't know. The concept of the holy trinity has always been something I struggle to wrap my head around. No, I don't remember. It's been almost 20 years.

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

Is this a trick question? I'm pretty sure scripture says that Jesus and the Father are one. Nevertheless, I was being somewhat facetious with your last question. My answer to both, assuming they are separate would be the same: "What does God want me to do?"

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

Certainly not me. I have a reputation to consider. :funlaugh2

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

Not at all. I just think it makes Christianity look bad.

Chatting with Hitler, and other historical figures

Oh, really? You'd think then that all of these Christians over the years wouldn't be trying to guess and making themselves look foolish.

    "What's taking you so long?"

    The end of the beginning...

Only in the sense that I was the older brother. It's a significant part. You don't go through something like that and not think differently after.
  13. Riven

    The end of the beginning...

    Yes, it was as accident.

    The end of the beginning...

I'm sorry for your loss. But you assume too much just because I am young. Yes, I have seen death up close. I first experienced it at the age of ten when my two year old brother died.

    The end of the beginning...

What if the believer discovers this on their own? For example, say they have a near death experience and don't see heaven, angels, Jesus, etc, during the experience. You would choose to live here on earth forever? But if morality has no significance in the grand scheme of things, doesn't good...

    The end of the beginning...

Suppose for a moment that there is no afterlife. As a Christian, would you prefer to live forever here on earth, as opposed to dying and being dead forever? Or do you want to live out your life and accept that your existence is finite? In a way, it almost gives it more of a personal meaning...

    Hey Riven, May I ask?

@Angelina Another reason I'm not so quick to become a Christian is because I don't like being told what to do or how to live my life. With Christianity, you're forced to obey God, and he's essentially the ultimate hall monitor. No, you can't drink. No, you mustn't have sex outside of marriage...

Direct confrontation with Russia seems likely

You're preaching to the choir, friend. We are in agreement. The war is largely a result of NATO expansion and provocation. The Ukrainian people now suffer because of this. I only hope the war ends sooner rather than later.

Direct confrontation with Russia seems likely

It's the national guard. They're there to help protect law abiding people in high crime areas. Criminals thrive on society's understanding and indifference. I'm glad something is finally being done about it.
