Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Another interesting parallel in that story is that every single one of the SECOND generation entered the promised land. The foreshadowing being that every believer born again by the incorruptible word of God enters into His rest.

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

CTK, this logic breaks down for all four Gospels, not just Matthew. The idea is always "Gospel X uses language that would resonate with audience Y." But the resurrection hope from Isaiah/Ezekiel/Daniel isn't a Jewish-only need, it's something every believer needs brought to mind, Roman, Greek...

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

    I can’t do any better, that’s all I know.

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

Matthew was the only one to mention it because knowledge comes by “precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little”.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

The ones who died in the wilderness are the ones who believed the account of the TEN (works to get into the promised land) and the ones who made it in were the TWO (grace) that knew the battle to take it was the Lords. That whole story is the gospel in a foreshadow of how works will prevent you...

And he left out the part where the people that say they are Israel stole that land.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

That’s a good verse that I had never noticed before and I know it won’t line up with your views but still, look at this. The messenger was John the Baptist which sets the timing of this verse. Plus we know that when Jesus rose from the dead he came to his people whom the Bible calls the true...

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

Really. Matthew talked about bodies being unearthed at the cross and coming to life at the resurrection of Jesus. Can you show me Luke's account of that? How about Mark's? How about John's?

    God's will concerning the Palestinians

They absolutely do not have God's blessing. The people that run Israel hate God.

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

Two things on that. I don't know what the spiritual white horse in Revelation represents yet so it could be in Acts and I haven't recognized it yet. The other thing is, omission in the passage doesn't mean it didn't exist.

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

You're treating Luke's "plain, literal" account as something that reads like the symbolic language in Revelation, but Acts 1 says "while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight", and it's up to the reader to determine whether that cloud is literal or spiritual...

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

The hermeneutics actually cut the other way. Revelation announces its own genre in the very first verse: John says God "sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John" — "signified," not "described plainly." That's the book telling you up front it communicates in signs and symbols, not...

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

The Greek word *apostasia* doesn't mean religious apostasy - that meaning isn't in the word itself. It simply means a falling away or departure. The reason people read religious apostasy into it is because they assume the verse is talking about the church falling away from the faith.

My view was almost the same — I thought it referred to the day of salvation, but I think you may be right.

Yeah look around you and see how many people are dying from heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

That pales in comparison to the number of deaths they cause with pharmaceuticals and protocols.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

I would add that "working out your own salvation" is exactly what we're all doing on this forum. Everyone here has a different understanding of what salvation is. Epi believes salvation comes through works. Others believe it's a combination of faith and works. Others believe water baptism is...

Jack Israel was restored at the cross for those who accepted it.

Is it possible that either you or @Lizbeth or both, are sinning and operating in the flesh in this thread? How can we tell?
