    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Vet, Your words: "I'm not going to get into stupid arguments about what words like "continue" means. You've obviously got a HUGE problem with denying the coming tribulation God's Word has already said will be upon His Church here on earth just PRIOR to Christ's return. (For others reading this...

Coming Antichrist Is Not Of Islam

Hi Vet, What does "tread underfoot mean" in your opinion? I'm picturing it as a military take over. Try not to spiritualize it, please.

    Two witnesses 2+2=2?

Vet, Candlesticks aren't what I was speaking about. The fallacy that the seven stars were heavenly beings is what my last point was about. Yes, the candlesticks represent the seven churches of that day, they have no future representation except that there might be several million candlesticks now.

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Saint, This was brought up on another the thread and the point is I guess that we don't really have any idea of what it will be like after the millennium. There are still things that are unclear to all of us and, imo, it's a little early to worry about it. I believe what I believe but it...

    Two witnesses 2+2=2?

My rebuttal is in every reply I've been polite enough to give you. I don't have to make "fabrications, complications, and contradictions are almost endless with pre, mid, and pre-wrath." I just tell it as it is. If anyone is doing any of what you accuse me of it would be yourself. Remember...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Kaotic, Your words:"The verse states that when He returns we go there! Not before! This verse alone debunks your belief that we go to heaven 'before' the resurrection." Heavy Sigh! The resurrection and rapture occur at the same time. The picture of Matt. 24:28-31 (the fulfillment of John 14:2)...

    Two witnesses 2+2=2?

"But people don't care about truth. They care about remaining in denial so that they don't have to admit they're wrong!" Sounds a little like self-incrimination to me.

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Kaotic, The resurrection is just the spirits of those who have already died, being re-united with their physical bodies, but those bodies will become as Christ's body was, glorified, uncorruptible and immortal. som & Martin, som's words:"What makes you more precious to God than his son or the...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Martin, Your words: "But I think that would leave no one to meet him in the air concerning this event in time." Yes, there will be a lot of martyrs but imo, the majority will still be alive to "meet Him in the air". Those who have already died, will be re-united with their physical bodies...

    Two witnesses 2+2=2?

Hi Vet, Your words: "Christ defined a link between the seven candlesticks and seven stars with the seven Churches per that Rev.1:20 verse. Those confused about that ought to simply READ the verse AS WRITTEN. I will label them in the verse for those willing to read... Some want to think of that...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Martin, Your words:"but the reason I don't believe in the vanishing part is because I believe the rapture is the martyrdom of the church until the catching up into the sky to meet Christ.." I'm not sure what you mean by that. The 5th seal shows the 70th week martyrs under the altar but to...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Martin, When one considers the great trib doesn't have a timeline but is generally a short term event within the context of the 70th week then we can see how the great trib will end with the rapture thus being, in a manner of speaking, "post trib." I don't believe it will be a "secret"...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Terry, Your words:"the first half of tribulation is not a time of wrath but rather a time of bounty. in the first half the Jews live in peace. un-walled villages." I'm not sure where you get the time of bounty from. If you're referencing Ez. 38, I put that at post-millennium as the only...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Kaotic, Your words: "Even when there's not one verse of prophecy that implicates Rome in the last days." Noty one of my arguments, I don't see it there either. "Or one verse of prophecy that say's Jews and Christian's will accept the man of sin." The understanding is that he will not seem like...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Kaotic, Your words:"There isn't one verse of prophecy that supports the idea that the church won't be here for a short period of the anti-christ reign." You're right, there isn't one, there are a whole lot, but you don't have an open mind to truth. Your approach to scripture is the same as your...

    Two witnesses 2+2=2?

Kaotic, Have you ever considered that Thayer might be wrong? The use of several references is always wise to see if the general consensus agrees. som - Nice piece of fiction, have you offered it to Hollywood? Imo, the two witnesses will have little to do with the church as we'll be gone for...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Kaotic, Your words: "He's given power over all people within his 10 nation empire whether Christian or not." That is true, however, the church will only be here for a short period of his reign. som - The 1/3 is what is left of Israel alone. The rest of the nations are not in sight with this...

Lawless Ones subverting the truth in Christ.

Hi Episkopos, Your words:"Remember it was the Pharisees who sought to interpret the bible that received the greatest condemnation." They weren't condemned for interpreting the bible, they were condemned for making and insisting on many, many burdensome laws that left common sense and love out...

    Bereans

I like what this guy has to say about Bereans. May we all strive to imitate them. Commentator Matthew Henry writes, regarding the Bereans: They had a freer thought, and lay more open to conviction, were willing to hear reason, and admit the force of it, and to subscribe to that which appeared...

    Seven Years of Tribulation,

Hi Vet, It continuously amazes me how much "assumption" you can put into the bible and state affirmatively, "thus saith the Lord"! There are a few assumptions in your reply. 1. Your words:"Once again, the Dan.9:27 verse divides that "one week" (7 years) period in half." Yes, it can be...
