What is the purpose of Grace?

I'm not adding to His words or going beyond what is written.....it is His word revealed. The revealed things belong to us....but do you or does anyone understand everything in the bible? No, because it hasn't all been revealed to us (yet). The Holy Spirit LEADS us into all truth....we are in...

What is the purpose of Grace?

I disagree with Episkopos on many things. But I do agree about holiness in principle. There are so many scriptures that point to a deeper experience in the Lord, and I have had a little taste of it. I'm not sure I agree about it being a second entrance....Epi seems to me to divide things up too...

What is the purpose of Grace?

Awww, don't you worry I've given Episkopos plenty of empathy and grace the last four years. I would need a translation of the rest that you wrote there....no idea sister.

    1 John 3 (cont)

Think we could both be right in a way....? The chastisements, trials and tribs take place over time and are "so that we may partake of His holiness". I have a testimony of the Lord tearing down the things and illusions that I used to rely on to get by in life, things that used to BE my life in...

What is the purpose of Grace?

Does that mean you don't agree with my post, and I was not hearing from the Holy Spirit with what He showed me about that? Since you are here, one thing I wanted to mention to you Epi, whenever the opportunity was to arise......how Jesus was touched with the feeling of our infirmities and that...

What is the purpose of Grace?

It is the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth.........not everything is spoon fed to us by being explicitly stated in the scriptures....there are things we need to harvest/glean out of the word ourselves (with the Spirit's help) as we grow and mature. The new testament says concerning the...

    Can LGBTQ individuals be saved?

The bible says to flee temptation and resist the devil etc. That is on us, we are not passive but engaged in the battle. And we certainly need to avail ourselves of His help, mortifying the deeds of the body through the Spirit.

    Can LGBTQ individuals be saved?

oops, just posted the same verse before seeing this.

    Can LGBTQ individuals be saved?

According to the bible.........."that is what some of you WERE" (1 Cor 6) so yes they can be saved. But once having received Jesus, they need to "go and sin no more", and I believe some of them will need deliverance.

    1 John 3 (cont)

I believe He is dwelling in us, in our new man, if we have received Him since we believed......but the leaven needs to be worked through the whole three parts of the lump.....cleansing/sanctifiying the entire vessel - spirit, soul and body.

    1 John 3 (cont)

From what I can see, it seems to be a mixture of flesh and spirit. (Except maybe if any fail to sow to the Spirit at all in their life or reject the Spirit outright....like cessationists.) But God is trying to make us into vessels of unmixed wine, and it seems to me He does that by killing our...

    1 John 3 (cont)

I'm glad you asked about that....was wondering about it too.

UK Journalist goes undercover, invades his own country by rubber boat dinghy

Yes...same old serpent and his same old ways. The HOLY Spirit has left many churches and another spirit has been creeping in to take His place which blinds people to plain and simple truths in the Word of God and causes them to embrace a lie as prophesied in the end of this age....it is a...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Jesus was not a FALLEN man, and neither are true believers. He had the Spirit without measure, and likewise our righteousness comes from His Spirit, the new man, not from our fallen nature.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

No I meant "you" in a generic sense. If anyone tries to help or correct someone who is not being in spirit with the written word, it can sometimes SEEM as though the person trying to help or correct is pitting the Spirit against the word, even though they are not.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Totally agree, there is no competition between the two. But in trying to help someone who is not approaching scripture in the way of the Spirit it will sometimes seem to them as though you are pitting spirit against the written word though. Even though you're not.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Amen....this is why our "angels" (spirit man) do always behold the face of God!

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Haven't been able to keep up very well recently, but want to express this. Imputed righteousness is because the Lord is not imputing/counting their sins against the person....which makes them righteous in His eyes. No sin = righteous. And the reason He is forgiving/not counting their sins is...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

I agree mainly with what you are saying, it's just that I also agree and sometimes observe that there are many who do not approach the scriptures via the Holy Spirit, only with their carnal mind (enmity with God). We are to serve in the new way of the Spirit, as I believe you would agree, and...

Yes, but I believe His mercy in wrath is especially that some will come to repentance when the idols come crashing down.
