Why think in terms of a method? Human methods are flawed. God's Spirit is not beholden to human methods. What matters is Jesus, ie understanding his reality. His Spirit is given for that purpose. Check out the ReDiscovering God podcasts. The link is in my signature below.

I don't know, all these externals. They seem very suspect coming from a Nation which attempts to hone its image at every turn. God doesn't care for image. He see the heart, dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.

There were some on his left and some on his right. Both were oblivious to the reason given why they were there. The ones on his left were oblivious to their arrogance and self satisfaction, the ones on his right oblivious to their kindheartedness. Now, that's a curious take!
