They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

It's Christ. In John's vision, the angel mentioned in Revelation 20:1 is Christ. There are several Biblical allusions in the Old Testament referring to Christ as the angel of the LORD. Oh my goodness. LOL! No,"Amill" just doesn't make them out to be literal, wooden objects and places as...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Was that unclear to you, David? Surely not... And, are you really asking another poster (FOTG) here to "interpret" what another poster (me) means? Really? Goodness gracious. :) I mean, why don't you just ask... me...? :) But... I'm not going to be "hurt" if you don't... :) Grace and...

Could be, but no, I don't think so. Gideon was asking God for a sign, trying to discern God's will. Grace and peace to you, GB.

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

To each his own, I guess, right? :) Sometimes it is possible to make inferences; we all do that... hopefully very carefully, though, even with great trepidation with regard to God's Word; I certainly do. Is quoting exactly what you said (regarding a resurrection being spoken of by Paul in...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Ugh. I don't see how you can see that; see above. Well, I guess on its face it... makes sense... it's just wrong. :) Ah, falling away, another concept that gives people a hard time. It should not, but it does. Regarding people who do fall away, I would point out what John says, that "many...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Hm, well, that's certainly not an amillennial belief or teaching. Nor is it any where, any way, supported anywhere in Scripture; quite the opposite. :) Grace and peace to you. GB.

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Right. Thank you, although... no credit to me, really... :) Sure. But... it was always God Who, in the case of Israel's victory, "delivered the enemy into their hand." Right? Ah yes! Love the story of Gideon and the 300... The Midians were 150,000, and Gideon's army was originally only...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

THAT is an excellent question, David. :) If you mean to say, David, that we are not more than conquerors through Him Who loved us, and that death or life, or angels or rulers, or things present or things to come, or powers, or height or depth, or anything else in all creation is able to...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Well, the Gospel ~ the Good News of Christ... Christ and Him crucified ~ was not able to be preached back then, because Christ had not come yet. When He came, the Gospel was opened to the Gentiles (to all the nations) as well as the Israelites. So, maybe the better way to put it is, Satan was...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Well, to answer your question, I would say yes, he was able to prevent the spread of the Gospel to Nineveh. We don't read of any Ninevites actually believing because of Jonah's preaching, right? They repented, by decree of the king of Nineveh, as we read in chapter 3, per Jonah's word... the...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Hmmm… I’m not so sure about that… By “it,” do you mean the resurrection Paul speaks of in Ephesians 2? If so, then do you not understand Paul to be telling living people ~ who haven’t yet physically died ~ that they have been resurrected? Because… he is… So the resurrection he is speaking of...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Not in your case... :) Disagree. :) And it's not an implicit thing, as you seem to imply here; it's quite explicit. And disturbing, from a Christian point of view... And even beyond that, you seem to be implying that they somehow deserve being belittled (as if that could really happen...

    The Millennial Kingdom

Right with you up to this point... No, the 1000 years will be over at this point, else he would not yet have come down from heaven. Right, because they are the ones resurrected to eternal life, but in addition to all who have not been saved, as they are the ones resurrected to judgment...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Right; agreed. She would not know what God said in Genesis 2 otherwise. Agreed. It's a fleshing out of what it means for Satan to be bound from deceiving the nations, and that fleshing out is according to what Jesus says in Matthew 12 and Mark 3. So no, I don't do what you think/say I do...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Now, this is very interesting... I'm going to quote exactly what you quoted, David. I'm not sure what version you're using, but that matters not here. You quoted Jesus (as John did) as saying, "the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice." It says, "the...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

I mean, you think I do, that's very clear. :) But that's... okay. :) That's... what I said. Interesting. That's what being his being bound means; Satan is bound, meaning that his power to influence the nations is suppressed. Nobody is "changing words in scripture." At least... not I... :)...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

David, all we know is that when Satan is loosed, he is loosed from being bound ~ unable to prevent the spread of the Gospel to the nations. So, all we know is that he will be able to do this. "Billions of people Satan deceives after the thousand years"...? There's nothing in God's Word that...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

The bottom line is that God created man with body and spirit united and without sin and in communion with Him. This is the state Adam and then Eve were in before the fall in Genesis 3. And this is the state we will all be in in the new Heaven and new Earth. Grace and peace to all.

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Okay, I’ll accept that, but it is what it is. The resurrection being specifically spoken of is our spiritual resurrection, Fullness Of The Gentiles. Those who believe in Him are given new life spiritually now because of Christ’s physical resurrection. Paul is not speaking in a figurative or...
