Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Ah yes!, the training of a saint. Wesley remarked that he knew a man who lost and regained holiness 5 times before he learned how to keep it. :)

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Only if you are still claiming to be walking in the Spirit when you are not. Running out of bullets causes most people to put the gun down. But in today's religious environment people are conditioned to pretend they are firing real bullets while unloaded. I'm using a kind of imagery that is not...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

I realize that many will find my post offensive to their sensibilities. As in...how dare I consider that most of us, if not all, are only walking in the "lower walk" of faith....the faith of humans. This will strike many as being offensive. However, we have God to consider. Can we stand up to...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Hey Azim. Good to hear your comments. :) What makes this so difficult to convey to others...without always assuming that we are always to be sinners in this world....is that there are two levels of walk. When I hear so many deny this....I know they have not experienced the higher walk. It's like...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

That is...until one is crucified to be joined with Christ in His resurrection life. There is a full victory in the higher walk. We can learn and improve...and become more and more surrendered to Christ. But we will never walk as He walked until we go to the throne of grace for the full measure...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Jesus said that out of our bellies would flow rivers of living water. Like a cup that has a hidden source that causes it to overflow... the continuous outpouring overflows to those around us. Can any impurities be added to such a cup? Doesn't a river take away any impurities we throw into it as...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Amen Azim. Yes, the deeper walk is to be immersed in the Spirit...totally immersed in His eternal embrace. The keeping power of God I liken to a fridge magnet. As long as we don't let the world and the cares of the world come between us and the Lord the "magnetic force" of God's Spirit at that...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

There is no sin possible in the Spirit. You have probably bought into the sinful holiness ploy that so many teach these days. Yes, walking in the Spirit is the higher walk...walking in the light as He is in the light. Abiding in Christ...in Him is no sin. Yes...for two extended periods. The...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

This is great except the transforming of life is progressive maturity...or progressive righteousness.

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

We have access into the kingdom realm...not a guarantee. Most have no idea about what the gospel is about...thinking it is a way to save the flesh and sinful humanity IN their sins. Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. Ephesians 2:18 For...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

This idea of a "greater sanctification" comes from an errant understanding of holiness. One does not become MORE holy or less holy. One is either holy or not. It's like being pregnant. No one becomes half-pregnant. That should be obvious. There is no sinful holiness. What I see is that the...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

"For thus says the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek me, and you shall live:" Amos 5:4 Live how? It means to discover an eternal kind of life. Jesus said to seek, ask, and knock. And we are to seek first the kingdom of God. Without that seeking....earnest seeking , we will never know what...

Where does our world view come from?

Agreed. Since most have never known anything beside what they were born into outside the spiritual realm...people do take things too far out of balance. I have trouble relating spiritual things to those who think the religious sphere is the same thing.

Where does our world view come from?

I agree with the diagram basically (although not with religion being conflated with the realm of the Spirit). I just see the available understanding in the limitations of the flesh to be a carnal one...even as it purports to have an interest in the religious aspect. This is akin to ADDING in...

Where does our world view come from?

How about....we see things as WE are not as they are really. We learn things, or we think we learn things by our varied experiences. However, all these experiences are through a corrupted nature....so then we really know how NOT to do things. Then, there's God's way. :)

Ever been to a PROPHECY Class??

A prophecy class? I think it more "productive" to have a tongues class....as in repeat after me...Baa baa baa baa (black sheep). Playing "Rubber Biscuit" could also be used to kickstart would-be tongues enthusiasts. :ummm: Seriously, spiritual gifts are as God causes them to happen. Trying to...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Agreed. But the reason why I use so many bible verses in my podcasts (22 this time) is to show what the bible is telling us about what is available and can be experienced by each of us. God is offering something to us with the gospel. It's up to our faith and love and hope and our perceived NEED...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

When the Son of Man returns will He find faith on the Earth? Not human religious beliefs, creeds and dogmas. These have multiplied to the detriment of faith. Faith takes us to the higher walk...the walk that is IN Christ. In Him is no sin.

New Podcast! Take the time to investigate the deeper ramifications of the gospel.

    Is Reality an Illusion?

This is a matter of what the faith of Christ is. Faith is the evidence of things not seen...not a speculation, not a religious opinion, not a theological surmising. It is an evidence...a sure thing because we actually experience the Lord the way we read about in the bible. Faith SEES. Faith...
