Is Sound Doctrine Essential for Salvation?

Eventually we will seek to measure up (or dissipate) to the doctrine we consider to be truth. Unfortunately, in our time sound doctrine is not endured by the multitude. Hence all the claims to a sinful righteousness from God.

The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus preached an imminent access into the spiritual realm of the kingdom, through His death and resurrection. When we are thus crucified with Him we are strengthened by grace to walk in His resurrection life...in HIS perfection (without any spot or wrinkle of sin). Truly this is not understood...

The Difference between RIGHEOUSNESS and HOLINESS

The perfection of Christ can be understood in 2 ways. The full stature of Christ in maturity...or else the higher walk in holiness afforded to us by resurrection life that helps us get to the full stature of Christ over time. No one grows naturally, religiously, into any semblance of Christ. We...

Was Paul's gospel the same as that of Jesus?

I have seen heaven. The Mosaic law has indeed been abolished. Jesus acknowledged the Mosaic law as it was still pertinent at that time. But He preached the kingdom of God....just like Paul continued to do. We are now granted through Christ to be where He is...in the kingdom realm...to walk in...

Was Paul's gospel the same as that of Jesus?

New podcast. The 2nd in a series about Paul. This one examines Bart Ehrman's contention that the gospel that Paul preached was not the same as that of Jesus.

    Tithing 10%?

Community in the Spirit is so far beyond the normal way we Westerners live. It takes more maturity than I think we moderns are able to produce. Living selflessly is NOT seen as being necessary...it is seen as wrong by most. It is seen as cultic. In some cases the definition of a cult is a group...

    Tithing 10%?

I think giving our "firstfruits" to the Lord is a good thing. Likewise we have have tithed for decades...like more than 40 years. God looks after His people. Many will complain that this is too much...too religious... but who are you tithing to? Are you tithing to the Lord? Or are you tithing...

    Paul's Manifesto

Hello to all. Let Paul describe his ministry in his own words.

God wants to save Christians too. --- Say what?

Here it is again...Behold glorying in the suffering of Jesus. Behold thinks he understands Paul. But he understands Paul the same way that the Pharisees thought they understood Moses. Paul gloried in the power of the cross on HIMSELF...not that Jesus had to suffer. How misguided can one get?

God wants to save Christians too. --- Say what?

The power of God to cause us to walk as Jesus walked...without any sin...for real. In Him is NO sin. Not the power to BLIND GOD to your true sinful condition. I preach the cross...for holiness...not for a perpetual sin affirmation.

God wants to save Christians too. --- Say what?

If ever a thread title was apropos... does God give grace to the arrogant???

God wants to save Christians too. --- Say what?

So why do you post what you have been indoctrinated to believe? I try to get you to read the bible. But you would rather read Mormon stuff. I try to get you to seek God...but you insist on twisting what little bible you have been taught to think gives you a license to sin. I also mainly igore...

God wants to save Christians too. --- Say what?

Yes...too many hecklers and haters of sound doctrine I'm afraid. Way too much immaturity. I like that you don't take yourself too seriously. I don't either. The truth is serious. But the truth needs to be lived out...not just believed in (or about) ...allowed to stand on its own merit without...

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

The elect are chosen to be holy.....not just saved. Only a few will walk with God in holiness. Only the few are the Bride of Christ. The rest of the saved are guests at the marriage feast.

The Ministry of Christ vs ministering sin

The other side of this coin are those who think God no longer sees their sin. That their sins are no longer such because they POINT to the cross...thinking all their sins are already there automatically. For them, unbelief is about having a sin consciousness...as if that sin-consciousness was a...

    Perfection

That is not a biblical understanding. You claim to be in the Spirit and then prove that isn't the case by reacting in the flesh. If the person cut you off 10 minutes earlier you would have still reacted in the flesh...and 10 minutes before that...etc. You can have good thoughts about God and...

    Forgiveness vs Atonement

You won't learn anything until you learn to ask the right questions. Stop filtering everything through a prior indoctrination. Let the bible speak for itself. Let God speak. Let the Holy Spirit speak. Stop trying to control everything with your fear. Try faith...you just might like it! :)

    Forgiveness vs Atonement

OK. Let's do that. I'll start a thread...on John 3: An exegesis...that must be explained in a scholarly way....no indoctrination or vain repetitions, grandstanding, or hypnotic suggestions to get religious carnal agreements from indoctrinated people. :)

    Forgiveness vs Atonement

To my detractors... Find a verse in the bible that sounds something like this "If any man comes to you telling you that a born again person should seek the Lord for a full measure of grace at the throne of grace, let him be anathema" That's what some here are basically saying to me. If you...

    Forgiveness vs Atonement

There is a church culture whereby if one person is advancing, the others get angry and begin accusing that person of not being like them anymore as in...you think you're too good for us now...really the lowest common denominator of carnal men. In a union, the ones who work harder are often...
