    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

So, how does the guy have salvation (forgiveness), and, afterward, not have salvation (forgiveness)? Why are we told he loses salvation (forgiveness) on account of his own refusal to forgive? Why does this parable teach the opposite of what you're saying?

I'm guilty because I can't be tricked? Lol

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

Were you planning on discussing the parable from Mt 18 any time soon?

Just answer the objections. No one is forcing you to be here. Quit pretending you have an answer when you don't.

Oh? What sort of "tree" never gives straight answers, and never admits when it is wrong?

Lol oh wow guys we got Paul the Apostle here! See the way he uses "Biblical" semi-Olde English catch phrases and wordsmithing? Lol Let's all forget he has nothing of substance to say about the topic, no substantive rebuttal, but focus on the floweriness of his gobbledygook!

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

Lol I have nothing left to say about it--it is eminently clear that branches must abide to receive substance from the Vine, and "the life is in His Son", so we must abide. It's self explanatory. Matthew 18 unforgiving servant shows what happens to a man who doesn't abide. He loses the salvation...

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

lol Guy, using a slightly old english manner of speaking is an embarrassing way of not making a substantive Biblical argument. No matter how you dress your gobbledygook up, give it some "pizazz", it's still nothing but gobbledygook.

So... no answer for Scripture. Got it.

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

The King of the Kingdom used the image of a branch, and the word "abide", because He wanted us to come to the conclusion I have come to. Is Christ "carnal" or "spiritual"?

    1. What it proves is that being God's child is not unchangeable, as you are wanting to say, and following physical logic. 2. Everything that happened to them was written down for our instruction according to Paul (1 Co 10).

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

It doesn't say Christ merely paid the sin debt, but that the servant had received the forgiveness, which is through faith, so we know he'd had faith. He was saved from wrath, having had his sins forgiven, then the forgiveness was rescinded, and he had to pay for his sins instead.

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

Deut 32:5 they are no longer His children because of their defect Hos 1 also proves being God's child isn't a static reality I go with Scriptural precedent, not with natural logic (carnal reasoning).

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

Branches receive substance on an ongoing basis--wherefore the term "abide" has been employed. See how perfectly the two fit together?
  16. GracePeace

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

The unforgiving servant is an example of someone not abiding and therefore being disqualified for the life that is only in the Son.

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

Jesus taught salvation could be lost when He taught forgiveness could be rescinded. Paul warned the Jewish believers were storing up wrath for themselves by their hypocrisy, which put them on the receiving end, on that Day, not of eternal life, but of punishment (Ro 2:1-16).

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

He didn't say "you stopped believing OSAS", He said "you know right, and you're not doing right" in Revelation 2-3. Answer (Mt 18) why the man was forgiven all his sins, so that he was saved, yet had the forgiveness rescinded, so that he lost salvation, if OSAS is true.

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

"The life is in His Son" (1 Jn 5:11), and is taken in only by those who remain in His Son by obeying God's command to believe in God's Son and to love others (1 Jn 3:23,24); the life is not retained within those branches that don't remain in the Vine, because the life is not in them, it is in...

You are wrong for rejecting what is plainly taught in the parable.
