I don't know where the OP is (I'm not even asking her) but in some jurisdictions legally held guns are harder to come by and the prevailing philosophy is that they are not the solution.

Good comments about the intricacies of restraining orders. In some states (and pretty well all Canadian provinces) the gun solution would not work well....

@LadyofFireandLace It's also possible for ppl who have fallen foul of the courts to be electronically tagged if there is a well founded belief that they will re-offend; a lawyer can advise; it may vary from state to state and province to province.

PPS: You may find that the landlord that evicted the man is willing to cooperate with you: you both have a mutual interest in not seeing him around unnecessarily. It's possible that the terms of the eviction order contain stipulations that he is not allowed in the vicinity without good reason...

PS: @LadyofFireandLace You can also get a court restraining order if someone harasses you around your property; find out more from a lawyer.

Hi @LadyofFireandLace From back, wasn't it about this time that you referred to when these wholesome influences came to the fore, that you also quit recreational marijuana? (I think you appreciate the idea of marijuana's medical benefits but you quit it recreationally, right?)

@Taken Well....how lovely she was able to keep smiling: what memories left there....... I often think - on the subject of ongoing prayer - that the Lord Jesus, the believer's great high priest, Who is passed into the heavens, 'ever liveth to make intercession' for all who love Him and trust Him...

Did you watch the short video and listen to its commentary? It does go some way towards answering some of the issues which you raised in your post, # 96, above. I assumed you had raised these points in good faith. In a spirit of Romans 14, it is perhaps likely that people will indeed think...
