@Heart2Soul Certain the Laodicean spirit is very strong in some countries. Interesting how that in Western countries it's often immigrants that receive the Gospel with joy; I guess tendencies can differ very markedly among different peoples.

@Heart2Soul As regards your interesting thread, did you ever finally see your doctor? Like I suggested, if I were you I would seriously follow his or her advice about its health benefits, before ingesting it for the first time.

I can think of more than 22 reasons why not to abandon it; not least because in Scripture the church and Israel are distinct and because in 1 Cor. 11.26 in words which speak of the institution of the Lord's Supper ("till He come") it is most definitely the church in view.

Great section of Hebrews 10 there; fits so well with Acts 2.42, about the early disciples: "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

@Taken Yes, well....if you don't know whether you would or would not be supportive, I guess you could always vote 'Don't know' in the poll: there is a 'Don't know' option there. Some moms out there might say they somehow found it a bit embarrassing that their daughter or son worked to give...
