    The Easter Bunny

Its too cold. Thats why. Its also too cold for a woman to travel outside, give birth and for the child to live. The sheperds didn't give gifts. The wisemen did give gifts. When Jesus was about 2 years old and living in a house. Christians don't celebrate lies about Jesus. Celebrate...

    The Easter Bunny

Actually we do know it wasn't his birthday. It was tax time and shepherds were in the field. Teo things that won't happen in December. The shepherds did come see him on his birthday. The wisemen didn't. They came to give homage to the king. I would have no problem celebrating his biethday...

    The Easter Bunny

There is no way of knowing, and mercifully, we aren't instructed to observe his Birthday. Personally I believe it was in the spring given the several markers (shepherds in the field, tax season, etc). But I don't make a holiday or day of observance out of it.

What your trying to get into is way more involved than what you have said. You are going on the priestly courses which are described in Luke 1. There were a total of 24 courses (Priestly rotations) for the year. Each course served twice a year (48 months) and there were 3 weekly festivals...

    The Easter Bunny

If the day (Christmas) is a Christianized pagan holiday (which it is) and not his birthday (which it isn't) then it is NOT worshipping him in truth. That's what is wrong with it. Please see John 4:24. What did they know about Santa? Hmmmm? I don't have the power to stop people from...

    The Easter Bunny

Stranger, Did you have your kids believing that the Easter Bunny brought an Easter basket to them or that Santa brought them presents? And did they really believe it? Causr I gotta admit.... I did. So are you going to tell me it was always about Christ when Children believe that Santa has...

    The Easter Bunny

[removed] Mungo, doesn't it matter what God thinks? Can you prove to me that God's ok with mixing paganism with Christianity? Cause everything I see in the schoolmaster (the OT) says it isn't.

Im not going to bother with you and your insulting tone. Do not bother me again with this type of post or you will be on my ignore list.

    The Easter Bunny

First off, there will be no apology given. There is absolutely no doubt that what I have said is the truth. Calling the truth a mere idiom IS garbage. Second, 3 Bible examples have been given to try to set a presidence for 3 days and 3 night not meaning 3 days and 3 nights. Two problems...

    The Easter Bunny

Post 95 was garbage. It shows just how little comprehension of the Bible people have. Really wasn't a post worth spending time on.

    The Easter Bunny

That's an utterly rediculous statement, but I'll let it go at that.

    The Easter Bunny

This is why i entered the conversation.... More specifically over the wedding ring arguement. Problem is i see nothing about althe use of a wedding ring in false worship. The difference is that christmas trees, easter eggs and such are pagan religious symbols incorporated into christianity.

    The Easter Bunny

Not when Matthew 28:1 says he had already risen when they found the tomb empty at the end of the Sabbath, which was Saturday. Either Mark was speaking of when he met the women or Mark and Matthew are not agreeing. In either sense, I note one thing about all the Gospels. When they went to the...

    The Easter Bunny

You going somewhere with this? Cause I'm quickly losing interest. No, risen doesn't mean resurrection. Oneis a past participle of rise, the other is a noun. Related words, but not the same. Please go somewhere with this.

    The Easter Bunny

I'm saying that's when he met the women.
  19. FHII

    The Easter Bunny

The gospels only tell when people foynd his sepulchre empty, not when he actually got up and left. Some may say that Mark 16:9 says that he rose early the first day of the wrrk, but it doesn't. That's when he met the women.

    The Easter Bunny

I'll give you the extremely short version. Matthew 28:1 says: In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. According to this account the two Mary's approached the supulchre as the sabbath ended...
