Where did the three human races come from?

Well, like i referenced with Gen 5:2. God created male and female and their name was Adam. When God created Adam Eve was a part of Adam literally. Adam said she was to be called woman because she was taken out of a man. The whole point is that Adam was in the image of God and fell to what we...

Where did the three human races come from?

I agree with this. In Gen 1:26-27 God created a man in his own image, but who did he create? Adam. And at the time he was both male and female. See Gen 5:2. At the time Adam was also immortal -- even after the split in Gen 2. Furthermore, language in Romans 5 as well as 1 Cor 15 suggests to...

goofy Christian beliefs.. cause people not to want name "Christian" san

Jaybird, As you said yourself, they are Christians in name only. I agree with you on that list you gave. So do we disregard the term itself? I don't think we should. But that isn't even what he was talking about. He wasn't speaking against inqisitions, denying people Bibles, justifying...

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

That some seriously flawed contextual reading 0bed. Like i said.... I am moving on. Im not going to bother what is clear and settled.

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

Your answer doesn't make sense to me and I'm moving on. Look 2 Cor 3 isn't difficult. Its not adking about the 3rd heaven or the seven thunders.... It say the 10 commandments have been abolished by Christ. Either you accept it or you don't.

A Study of Peter's sermon at Pentecost

When I read Romans 8 I do so in respect to the entire book. Paul's purpose in this book is to show us several things; one of them being that we are dead to the law and sin --even though we still do it-- isn't imputed to us. I stand by what I said.

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

"Baptism now saveth you" (Jn 3)

How doyou not see that this verse says it isn't baptism in water that saves you? Its baptism into Christ that saves you. People who believe that water baptism is necessary aren't right... They are just wet.

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

2 Corinthians 3:13 KJV And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: IT's RIGHT THERE! This Paul writing about the 10 commandments, to the Corinthians, who happened to be gentiles! What facts do I...

My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me?

The is only one version of the Bible.... And yea.... Its in there.

"Baptism now saveth you" (Jn 3)

    H. Richard already refuted this and no... Nothing in John 3:3 about water baptism. But I encourage catholics to be baptized in water. After all, its one of the few things they do that actually is in the Bible. It isn't necessary, but is ok to do.

Two Ways of thinking about OSAS

Richard, hears my understanding on it: You don't have to confess your sins and you aren't even capable of sufficiently confessing your sins. One single and small sin is enough to damn you (Jesus, Paul and James all agree on that). So if you are going to confess your sins you must get them...

A Study of Peter's sermon at Pentecost

It boggles my mind how anyone tries to justify works with Romans 8. The only way it can be attempted is by selecting a verse or two out of the chapter and ignoring the rest. Paul says in that chaper that, " ...they that are in the flesh cannot please God, but ye are not in the flesh but in...

What happened to the angels who mated with 'daughters of man'?

Well what you think isn't in the Bible. And what you think doesn't explain how giants and mighty men of old were born of them. But what IS in the Bible is that the flood destroyed all flesh on the earth. Yet you don't believe that? No explanation needed Mungo.... Don't really want to hear...

    Water baptism (a study

I'm actually having a serious discussion, just not about your post. It didn't interest me nor did I think it was good.
