    Water baptism (a study

Richard refuted it in post #1. In other words your post didn't. Hold water to begin with. Water baptism is good though.... It actually is one of the few biblical things many churches who relie on the traditions of men do.

    Water baptism (a study

Yes it is.... Its already been discussed and proven in this thread. So I won't continue to keep showing it. Its actually one of the things thats ok to do! It is biblical to do it (just not biblical that its required).

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

Well then its denial of what you read then. The 10 commandments were written on stone and verses 7, 11 and 13 clearly and without controversy state they have been abolished. Not to mention my earlier points which clearly show that the terms law of God and the law of moses were the same thing...

    Water baptism (a study

But not everyone was baptized with water, and not every baptism was done with water. Jesus' baptism with the HG and eith fire is more important. I'd even say it is the one necessary for salvation. Water baptism isn't.

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

Yea 0bed.... The ole selective reading technique. Your skipping verses 7, 11 and 13 which clearly state that which WAS written on stone is abolished and done away with. Whats neat is that verse 15 states that even today those who are following the law are blinded. As for verse 3, it isn't...

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

Obed, the Mosiac law IS the Law of God. They are used interchangably and has been done away with. 2 Cor 3 specifically talks about that portion that was written on stone.

    Water baptism (a study

Mat 3:11 said that John said Jesus woukd baptize with the HG and with fire. Why is no one wanting that baptism? "Oh well, he didn't mean literal fire!" So why is the water literal today?

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

The is no difference between the Lae of Moses and the Law of God. Consider: 1. Everything in the so-called law of Moses came from God. 2. Look at John 7:19-23. Jesus said the Pharisees were breaking the sabbath, which he referred to as the Law of Moses. 3. Compare Mark 7:10 to Matt 15:4...

    Water baptism (a study

Good post , Richard. Lets remember 1Cor 1: 14-17.... Paul doesn't seem that big on the practice. He did it a few times, but certainly not all the time. I'd like to think if it were that important, he would've done it more. Jesus' death was a baptism, and Romans 6:3 is a good indication of that.

    blashphemy of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Ghost is the spirit of truth. When that spirit gets in you and you deny truth.... Well, that's blasphemy. When you add your opinion to God's truth, you change the truth.... This is also blasphemy. So Scaliafan is right. Unfortunately he's backing an organization FULL of blasphemy.

For Christians confused about what to do in November

Oh... I love this! Scaliafan... You are clearly as confused as a 12 year old boy with his first.... ...well. You know! I told you before.... Don't entangle yourself with the affairs of this world! It'll drive you mad!

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

Tom, the Bible is my doctrine. I could care less about what the catholics or protestants believe. If they somehow stumble into a truth.... Then praise God.

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

There are Catholics who believe that their church is the mother church. Furthermore, all protestants are rebellious children of the catholic church. I will not even hint to validate that claim by allowing myself to be called a protestant. Furthermore, i am not protesting the catholic church...

Do We as Christians Keep the Mosaic Law?

2 Corinthians 3:7-15 KJV But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the...

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

You are right though.... What is in the past is done. I would really like to hear one catholic say that though. Id lije to hear just one catholic say that their chuch did some F.U.S. and aplogize. I would actually forgive them.

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

First off...i never claimed to know who started the Catholic Church (although i do know) . i just said it wasn't Jesus and that happens tobe true. Nextyou offered what you "think" is scholarly. I reject it. Not cause I've read it. But because you put it forth. Unfair? Hey toots... I never...

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

And i fault you not for that. Praise God that you found Jesus! I have a similar testimony, but that Jesus came for me and brought me home. As for history..... Well... Ok. You study history. Good for you. I study truth. And what history says isn't always truthful. Especially when dictated...

Why I believe (true) Catholicism will some day rule the world

I'd like to add that I am not a protestant. Also the protestant inqiusition has nothing to do with this thread. And frankly Im not even sure the was one....
