Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

It is all past now. How close to perfection are you now? Be holy for I am holy. I do not have any known sin in my life now. Unfortunately there are some who believe we will always sin, and only be sinless after we are dead. That is not scriptural, but is taught.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

No. Do we have any sins left once cleansed from all unrighteousness and given the gift of the Holy Spirit to dwell within us and our conscience? See even though we may not have the desire to sin, we are far from perfect. Perfection has to do with 2 Peter 1:5-7 and it may take a lifetime.

Damage from abuse. But then more abuse caused the opposite to happen. We learn obedience through suffering.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

When I talk to Jewish unbelievers on another forum, they only speak of 613. They don't count the ones in the New Covenant.

    Because it wasn't "lawlessness" 1 John 3:4

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Okay, now I'll answer this. Though I committed that sin - in God's eyes He deemed it unintentional, so the blood of Jesus cleansed it automatically. He still spoke to me, gave me visions and all the things like He still does with me now that I've learned better. 1 John 1:7 Why? Because I loved...

It may be a "common" word in Israel, and culturally not merely Muslim in use.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

No, it is in scripture. Its an easy question to answer if you know the Bible. Think about it then answer, so I can then answer that other post I'm waiting on.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

It is probably a common word in Israel where he lives.

Believe it or not. Your conscience can be seared due to believing a lie. That doesn't mean your whole heart is seared, only on that one issue. But no one cannot know the moral laws of the Ten Commandments. Even Cain tried to hide his sin. He felt guilt.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Yes, when they are caused by immature fruit of the Spirit. There are many sins on the forums against other forum members. Slander, bearing false witness, hatefulness, lack of self-control, provoking to anger, calling each other derogatory names, etc. These are not sins unto death, they are not...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Because a false teacher told me it wasn't. I believed him, and it wasn't one of the Ten Commandments I was breaking. The Holy Spirit will finish what He started, but not by day one. Now I know better and that sin is gone. Look at 1 John 1:7. That person is walking in the Spirit, thus cannot sin...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

When you know something to be sin, and your conscience is screaming at you to not do it, and you willfully do it anyway - that is willful sin. You KNOW better. When you do something that your conscience tells you is okay, even if it is not, that is unintentional sin (not unwillful sin)...
