Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

If you are asking if I keep the 7th day holy, no I don't by the Law, so by that you have grounds to say I'm a sinner. Happy now? But I am living the Spirit of the law which no Jew under to law could ever do.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The law was easy to keep on the surface. It is the New Covenant that is much harder. It looks like you are in neither Having faith in Jesus doesn't make us sin.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I already did. The letter of the law is like the commandment to keep the Sabbath. The letter is one day a week. The Spirit is Jesus abiding inside of us 24/7/365.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Just the opposite and I am trying to teach you what you obviously don't know. Here is the truth you don't know about what grace is. Grace is the power of God given to us to naturally obey His righteousness and to be righteous.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I always know my scriptures and where they can be found. You do the same and always give a text to your beliefs as proof. It looks like you are still in Paul's teaching on the law.

So, you don't obey the law. Fine, I get it. That is why I asked if you act like the world who doesn't obey the law either.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The old covenant laws were merely hitting the surface of sin - what other people could see, except for one. That one commandment condemned them, because it went deeper to our core. That one was coveting. They could still hate and lust, just as long as they didn't go to the extreme of murder and...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

We are either a true Christian and do not willfully sin. Or in the flesh, and only act righteous with self will-power, but sin is still in them. In other words, a true Christian with the Spirit of Christ indwelling is one 24/7/365, and never in the flesh.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The LAW is Old Covenant. We are not under the Old Covenant, thus no longer under the written law on engraved stones. We are under the law of the Spirit. Does the Spirit make us murder, steal, lie, commit adultery, etc. Is that what you think someone who believes in Jesus can do now?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

And when you have the righteousness of faith in Christ, do you act righteously? Are you yourself righteous if you continue in sinful ways of the world? Don't you know that a Christian sinner is an oxymoron?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Chapter 3 of Romans is in the middle of an eight chapter teaching. Romans 3:31 shows that what was previously written about the law in this chapter doesn't mean we break the law now that we are no longer under it. In Romans 6 Paul speaks to those who believe as you do. 1 What shall we say then...
