Thanks, @SERVANTedu I take your general point. I was really thinking of the words of Scripture; which can become a silent witness or a talking point when the wearer wishes to use them as such. My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of the wording of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist...

I think it's not so much a matter of achieving supposed emotional authenticity as it is following the order of things in Scripture.
