YW @dhh712 You're evidently a history buff; I was interested to read that apparently in Antebellum times in some areas it was customary on Sundays after church for women to congregate outdoors and smoke together; in fact it was even considered a bit rude not to smoke as well if one joined them...

I think there is a distinction between letting nature take its course in a seriously ill person and actually killing someone; of course, with the ingenuity of lawyers, ppl can "prove" virtually anything, but there is a distinction.

@dhh712 Seems like, similarly to yourself, your aunt did not have a craving for nicotine, even though she like you are was fairly comfortable with occasional social smoking.

@Lambano So sorry about this. Sounds like she had been a fairly heavy smoker, rather than an occasional social smoker.

Ephesians 2.8 says it's by faith. Hebrews 11 over and over stresses the importance of faith.
