    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

"Conflict of interest" destroys the very foundation of science they trust in instead of God and God's morality--yet, without morality, which they don't have when they reject Christ, they're left with nothing.

Losing Your Salvation - Bible Verses

It's both: as you say, we really are a new creation, and the old really has gone, and yet we are to lay aside the old self and put the new self on. Ephesians 4 20But you did not learn Christ in this way, 21if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus...

Losing Your Salvation - Bible Verses

Shame, fear, and fleeing and hiding (Pr 28:1; Heb 10:38,39; 1 Jn 2:28, 3:23,24, 5:21; Rv 3:17, 16:15). Genesis 3 7And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed together fig leaves and made coverings for themselves. 8Then the man and his wife heard...

Following the UnCut Word Of God!

One thought on 7th Day Sabbath: that was a commemoration of the rest God took after creating the old creation, so, if God does another act of creating, then He would have a new rest, and there would be a new commemoration of the new rest from the new act of creating. Well, we are a new...

Following the UnCut Word Of God!

The "one law" all God's people are bound to (Ro 14:5) is "let every man be fully convinced in his own mind"; paradoxically, this results in varied expressions of "the obedience of faith" (Ro 1:15), as shown in Romans 14: 1) "14I am convinced and fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is...

Following the UnCut Word Of God!

We're not under Law, but by being under Grace (Ro 6:14), the "righteous requirement" of the Law is fulfilled in us by God (Ro 8:4), and so we fulfill "the entire law" (Ro 2:6-16, 26, 27, 3:31, 13:8-10). The Law isn't even God's exact will, because it contains concessions for wicked/hard hearted...

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Prove I'm wrong. Address the Scriptural points I've made. I only note, as an aside, that historical Christianity has agreed with me. Is that actually a negative? Yes, I follow men: Peter, John, Paul and their disciples. Oh no!

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Nope, it's both: "obey, for it is God at work" Php 2:12,13

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Let me know when you're ready to prove that Romans 2:6-16 doesn't teach that eternal life will be only be repaid doers of good at the coming judgment.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Nope, that's not what it means to be under Law. Being under Law means to read and serve God by the Law of Moses. The difference between what I am saying and being under Law is that I am saying God works in you and you are to walk by that working.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Me: Scripture says it, I believe it--all of it. You: Nonsense. Exactly.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

What I try to "get" is what Scripture says--exactly what I've shared with you--and you're saying "No, I believe something else." I mean, yes, people can know God without having perfect theology--I think you can be Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, Monergistic, Synergistic, and know...

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

OK the readers will have to decide who they believe has been more faithful to what is written.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

This is why I say you don't believe ALL of Scripture, just snippets of it, whereas I believe it all (or try to). You cite one verse in order to negate another verse, but I'm saying it's all true, and seek to understand how it all "harmonizes".

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

So, you have no answer for the Scriptures I've cited?

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Explain how the passage doesn't teach that only those who do good will be repaid eternal life at the coming judgment.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Explain how the idolater still has eternal life but no inheritance in God's Kingdom. Lol

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Already explained 1 Jn 3:23,24 says 1) believe on the Name of God's Son, and 2) love one another. If you want to denigrate that as "works", that's fine, but, again, your view has no way of reconciling Ro 8:1 with Ro 14:23, or accounting for the fact that Paul (in 1 Th 4:8) warns the immoral God...

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Neither addresses the issue in context, you merely rely on another verse in order to discount what Ro 2 teaches. Show me from the context that what I'm saying is a misunderstanding.

Christ Saved Us... What Do Good Works Do?

Yup, and we're told to "remain in Him" (some don't (1 Jn 2:28))--the life is "in His Son" (1 Jn 5:11), so those who don't remain don't retain the life, and we remain in Him by obeying the command 1) believe in the Name of God's Son and 2) love one another (1 Jn 3:23, 24).
